really good place just outside Noord Region of Amsterdam, you can go easily biking, many things to do, including food, barbecue, swimming and cycling, really well structured and has really good scenarios! Really recommend!

Amazing place to visit with the family or your pet! They have many sticks for your dogs. There is plenty of parking spaces, many lakes, parks and different areas for walking & exploring. They have some picnic areas with sitting areas and trash cans. Very nice place to visit for the weekend!

Beautiful, quiet park. Perfect to enjoy after a busy week. Great, wild nature with many sport possibilities for nature lovers. I do love Het Twiske, will come back for sure!

An absolute paradise specially if you are going with your dog , you can of leash them in dedicated place, play in the beach. The restaurant too serves amazing food.

A nice place to have some family fun. There are beaches, kids play areas, restaurants, mountain bike parks and the list goes on, there is also lots of small wildlife. A breadth of fresh air from the city.

Wonderful place! Silence just interupted by Animals "noise", recreation at its best! Cycling strongly recommended.

Amazing natural wonder to chill. Have a nice walk or ride your bike while enjoying a beautiful nature and see cattle from time to time.

A wonderful place for many activities. Beach, dog walking, running, sup, diving. As I live nearby and I have 3 dogs I take them here everyday and I am so happy to contribute for the maintenance of places like this that make our lives so much better:)

Interesting place for the fun family/friends day out. Good quality bar and restaurant available rights in the middle of beautiful natural landscape.

A lovely place for relaxing in nature. Plenty of swimming for everyone. It has a nudist area. Plenty of BBQ areas. Kid friendly. Boat rentals. Bird spotting.
It's close to Amsterdam. Bicycle paths from the city, lead you there.
Be nice to nature, clean up after yourself.

Beautiful and serene piece of nature close to Amsterdam Noord and not that far from the city centre. There is a small beach that's a recommendation for parents with small children.

Great place to go for a day out. There are a couple of restaurants there. We walked with the dog around, she had to be on a leash which was a bit of a shame .

They have some small beaches and a nice atmosphere. Definitely check it out if you are in the area.

Great park close to the city. Beaches, MTB trails, bikepaths, birds, and boat rent.

Nice huge space to bike in the nature. There is a big lake and a kind of square where you can rent a boat or a kayak. A few restaurants, cafes

A genuine rural experience just north of the city border of Amsterdam. A good alternative to de Nieuwe meer especially if you're located centrally in Amsterdam. Quiet in Spring and Autumn. Great for biking.

Amsterdam's nature hidden gem. There are plenty of pools to swim and play around in the water. Also nice to bike and picnic around. There are plenty of parking spaces available. Best thing is about the crowds that just feel more local and un-pretentious like any other Amsterdam nature areas. Totally recommend.

Great big park with many attractions for all families. It has also diving places and surfing lakes!

Amazing park, nice for walking, biking, or whatever you please. There are also little parks and helpful maps if you get stuck.
