Twiske Haven restaurant

I visited the bar later. Firstly I rented one-person kayak for all day. How I love Het Twiske! Enjoyed it very much. Lovely places to kayak through, everyone will find something for themselves. Lakes, small canals, rivers, bridges, just be careful not to get lost, the area is vast. Good I got a map from the staff, otherwise I would get lost for sure!

Beautiful and peaceful place in the middle of a nature reserve. Restaurant with excellent and locally sourced food. Friendly staff. Last, but not at least: mooring prices are the lowest in Netherlands.

It was a cold and beautiful sunny morning. The service was very nice. We only had some drinks, and really liked it.

I also liked the fact the sugar and milk for the coffee were certified organic (biologisch). The coffee itself probably too, but I did not check.

I hope it stays open often this winter.

Very calm spot inside the Twiske recreational area.

The restaurant has a nice menu with sandwiches, some dishes and event very nice deserts, at a reasonable price, and you can enjoy them while having magnific views of the lake.

The terrace is completely great with some sun, and they even have some sand place for the children to play.

And you can rent some kayaks, at 5€ per hour!

It can be tricky to come up with a teambuilding event that will please a group of nearly 30 well-travelled professionals from all parts of the world until you go to Twiske Haven. They nail it! Fantastic service, hospitable, knowledgeable and flexible team, scrumptious food, a gorgeous location and dozens of events // activities that will engage everybody. Our team did the iPad Epic Winter Challenge and every single person was having a blast during the challenge outside and afterwards in the restaurant during drinks and dinner. I highly recommend Twiske Haven wherever your team comes from!

Wir hatten hier eine schöne private Geburtstagsparty, das Essen war gut und die Getränke, speziell die Tee's waren sehr gut.

Fijn plekje. Rustige omgeving, lekker eten, ruim
terras en prachtig uitzicht. Eten niet overpriced, zoals in hartje Amsterdam. Bediening kan iets efficiënter maar hun vriendelijkheid maakt veel goed! Aanrader dus als je echt even wilt onthaasten. Plak er meteen een wandeling achteraan 👍

Voor mijn 80 ste verjaardag zocht ik een leuke locatie om een feestje te geven.
Twiskehaven was een hele goede keus.
Niets anders dan lof voor vriendelijke personeel en meedenken om geslaagd feest te hebben. Het Tiroler buffet was fantastisch. Het lekkere vlees, de heerlijke aardappel gratin en rode kool en alle andere gerechten en ook voor de vegetariërs. Iedereen heeft gesmuld!!
Twiskehaven is een echte aanrader!!
