They have done a great job for gamification of science in this museum. The game about what is inside box was inspiring and enlightening.

Nice and not pretentious museum with many interesting pieces. It is obvious that the intention of the museum is primarily to teach rather than to show off all the artefacts. Clever disposition takes you through the times and through, for example, various organs of the vertebrae. The small botanical garden is very peaceful and laid back.

Really interesting museum with lots of human and animal samples. There are some oddities too, like malformations.

The museum consists of a botanic garden and 5-6 rooms, so you might spend there 1-2 hours. Some of the rooms have interactive material, and most of the content is in English too.

Included on the museum ticket there’s a botanic garden, although you can visit it separately for a lower price.

Interesting exhibits and the garden is amazing

Some slightly scary, but super interesting samples of scientific history. There's also a beautiful botanic garden that is well worth a few hours. At the top floor there's a lab where kids can do experiments.

A great time spent to learn about sciences! It's also available for kids, I'm pretty sure they will get fun! There's a coffee bar inside with tasty desserts

Incredible! The wide variety of natural sciences is impressive. I especially love the emphasis on the extrodinary and more curious bits of science such as skeltons with birthdefects, etc. The greenhouse and garden are very romantic and absolutrly stunning! Also, the cafe is a littke slow on service, but friendly and has good espresso! I will definetly be visiting more; it is the type of place you can return and always discover something new!

Brilliant university/science museum. There are lots of experiments kids can do by themselves, and plenty of assistence is available to help them out.
Also the hortus botanicus (entrance is free for visitors of the museum) is worth a visit.

Highly recommended for kids from about 6 years old (and their parents)!

Fantastic place and genuinely creepy!

Wonderful museum in the southern part of Utrecht's city centre. The former university botanic garden is located right behind the museum and can be accessed through the main entrance.

They have an amazing quantity of biology samples in jars. And a beautiful outside botanical garden. Worth to visit
