Fujiyama

Tappenyaki was a great experience. Food was delicious, show was great and the personnel was very kind. More expensive than on average, but the quality of food/service is there.

All you can eat was nice too, we had 4 rounds before being entirely full, but regarding time, a 5th one could have been probably possible. Plus is, you get to try a lot of items on the menu for cheaper. Only minus is that sometimes during a round, you have to wait a long times between sushi and warm dishes that often arrive with a delay. The concept is a bit different from other “all you can eats” with a self-service buffet, but I feel like the quality of the food here is higher and despite waiting, we still ate a lot of food and were full.

⭐Honestly the best sushi place in the city! The sashimi is so fresh and soft. Im a huge sashimi lover and ive tried many places in Groningen, but this place has never dissapointed me. The sushi is also very nice, it has just the right fish and rice balance.

⭐The warm dishes are also amazing, very high quality meat and it is always cooked in the perfect way! Angus beef always came out medium rare which I love. The chefs are definetly very skilled. The duck was also very nice. The pieces were thick and tasty!

⭐Service is a 10/10, they are very friendly and take your feedback serious! They also show the customers a lot of respect and are very helpfull. One waitress was just dashing around 24/7 trying to help as many customers possible with a huge smile. Honestly mad respect!

⭐The price is also very fair! You pay about 40€ for all you can eat but you don't have to pay extra for the sashimi or scallops. Normally at other sushi places they will charge you 3-6€ extra. So for me this is way cheaper and i get to enjoy unlimited sushi and scallops!

We got a reservation for my gf’s birthday, and the dinner was great! We had all you can eat, and stopped ordering after 3 rounds because we were so full. The sushi was really good, i highly recommend their unagi nigiri (not much a sushi person myself but these are so far the best ones I’ve had in Groningen). The desserts were complimentary and my gf also got a special birthday dessert! Overall, would definitely come back and dine here again

We were there a few times, last time was during Christmas, the staff is very nice and they always try to make sure you've got everything you could possibly need. Food was great, their sushi is always fresh and the drinks are amazing!!!

Have been there a few times for the all you can eat. Honesty the best sushi I've had in Groningen! Regardless, the other menu items are also quite delicious and definitely worth it.

The food was great and the ambience was stunning. We came there at around noon and it was quite empty and quiet which was nice. It has a pretty view on the street and the nice waitress who served us made us feel welcome and was quick and friendly.
At the end we got a hot towel which was a first for me!
All in all, I really enjoyed it

I thought I didn't like sushi but Fujiyama changed my mind! So delicious and fresh. I think the all you can eat price is definitely worth it compared to other places in the city. Lovely interior and the staff were super helpful and friendly.

Japanese restaurant specialises in sushi and tappanyaki. It’s an entertainment to see the chef prepares fresh food. Food and Service are excellent. Good place to go for some special date!
One of the best Japanese restaurants in Europe!

They have a show cooking on a big plate surrounded by the tables. They make some fire and make it a bit funny too. They serve very nice menus with several courses. It is a bit fancy but still good to go with kids. I love the food they serve. It is not cheap but really worth it

Went to Fujiyama for dinner and was not disappointed. The interior and setting is exactly how you want it to be for a nice dinner. Lighting, music, furniture and everything else sits together really well. Next to this, the staff was polite and warm and the food was the total high point of the evening. Tried a lot of different things starting with sashimi and sushi, finishing with duck and two kinds of beef. Everything tasted amazing and I enjoyed every single thing about this amazing restaurant. If you looking for a place to have a nice meal, then I seriously advise you to try this one out.

Absolutely amazing food, and watching the chef cook it in front of you is fantastic. I was part of a group of 5 who showed up without a booking but they were still able to find us a table and serve us a meal very quickly. I highly recommend this place.

If seated at the Teppanyaki plates then the food is prepared in front of you. It's entertaining but most importantly tastes great! Reservations are recommended for Friday and Saturday evenings.

The food was really lovely and yummy. The staff were really nice and friendly as well.
