Restaurant Bla Bla

Bla bla is a vegetarian restaurant and they have tons of vegan options! They can also make most vegetarian dishes vegan on request and the menu indicates that on the dishes. This place was recommended to me by another restaurant and I am thankful to that server for recommending this place.

It is a smaller restaurant and they were full booked when I went there but they were kind enough to allow me to order food for takeout. The food was ready in 10minutes and was super fresh!

I ordered the items under Nasi Rames (check photo) and everything was delicious. They had an English copy of the menu at the restaurant but I did not take its photo. The food is very flavorful. My dishes contained a salad with some sauce (containing peanut I believe), some chips, rice, coconut, spring roll, fried banana, jackfruit and a vegetable curry. I felt the portion size is quite big and the pricing was very reasonable. I paid only 21 euros for all this food.

I will probably return to Groningen for work and will absolutely visit this place again.

Great vegetarian restaurant. Small and cozy.
Good food, tastes amazing. Friendly staff. Price are reasonable compared to the quality. Has a small bicycle parking rack Infront. No car parking available, but really near to the Ossenmarkt Q-park.

Delicious, all vegetarian but you absolutely don't feel like you are missing anything. Highly recommend the 3 course surprise menu or mezze, also great wine.

Nice vegetarian friendly restaurant in the heart of the city Groningen. You have good options for starters and dessert. There are three main dishes to choose from the menu. The owner is a nice person and always there to listen to you! Recommended to try at least once!

Lovely place! Really nice atmosphere, very cozy, small and intimate. The menu is quite small but good range of flavours, and all vegetarian with options of making it vegan. We had several small dishes, mediterranean, and one big plate of Asian/Indian for 3 people, each dish cost 20€ p.P. The desert options were also vegan friendly, and very nice! So probably not very good on a tight student budget but definitely if you want to treat yourself to a nice, intimate dinner (music was also very nice) and service was fast and friendly. Would definitely go again and can only recommend!

I love this place. It's expensive, sure. And some of the tables might be better than others (near the door can be a little cold). But the food is great. I've been here with multiple meat lovers, and even my dad couldn't stop repeating 'This is great, there's no meat, but it's amazing!'.

Also; you get a lot of food for the main course, so I'd not recommend getting starters if you want a desert. I'm a desert person, the cinnamon ice-cream with liquor was amazing too - I wouldn't want to have missed that.

Super delicious vegan food!! You most likely get to taste something new! The food is made with love. Only thing is that it could have been a little bit warmer in the place, despite of that the atmosphere is very nice. I recommend going there.

Excellent and very tasty vegetarian. The best we've had in the Netherlands! Very accommodating with our fussy kid. They boiled an egg for her, major kudos. Highly recommended.

Very nice vegan/vegetarian restaurant in groningen. The dishess were good and tasty. I remeber that the original form of serving the kind of greek food which we had is a bit different but it was very fine and the owner was nice and did quite a nice job, it was two choices and both were fine. Also to note he did open during the christmas/new year holliday so it was fine to get some healthy food even if other healthier places were closed.

The food is so good! I'm willing to travel for an hour just get to get dinner here. It's a little costly compared to others, but what you get for your money is beyond comprehension. Also quiet and small, with great service.
