An absolutely wonderful location. The building itself has you in awe already. The food is lovely and well presented too. Service is very friendly.

There is a wheelchair lift sunken into the ground in front of the building. And there is a fully accessible wheelchair bathroom.

Wonderful atmosphere in the hotel courtyard… Relaxed and casual… Perfect place to sit champagne… And the service is friendly, the food is excellent! Same kitchen as Nassau, which is my favorite restaurant.
Great place for lunch or dinner.
I had the white asparagus with egg and hollandaise sauce, and the codfish… Both, fabulous!… my bad I’m ordering so much creamy rich sauce… But very enjoyable.

Lovely evening! We were also guests and enjoyed a dinner. Gorgeous service and great food in a fantastic location. Good spot for either a celebration or romantic evening.

A lot of places in Groningen are small and busy. This one invites to stay around. The prices are reasonable given the quality of the food and the historic-looking café makes it stand out. Gonna come back!

Delicious food but very pricey. You pay for the quality and the surroundings are pretty. Overall, we were disappointed with how slow the staff were given how empty it was (on a Saturday evening). Portions are small and expensive. Not somewhere I would rush back to but it was a pleasant experience.

The staff was very nice and helpful. I ordered oysters and salmon florentine, they were both stunning!

Delicious food in a lovely place.

I have been twice here, and had always good experience.
The Florentine eggs are delicious. I have tried the red cabbage, it is very tasty. The deserts are tasty, including a slice of originality.
Maybe a suggestion regarding macaron => maybe you could try with little bit less of ganache. I personally felt the ganache flavor was too strong compared to the base (maybe you could lower the ratio of ganache/base)

Finally, the service is perfect for having a fancy experience. Waiter and waitress are always kind with customers, helpful, welcoming. I have the feeling they are happy to work here.

Extremely pleasant surprise. We were expecting "good" (as there is another fine dinning restaurant in the hotel) but got "great". We did 4 course from the seasonal menu but the menu is extremely flexible with a la carte or 2/3/4 course dinner options. If you did 3 course I would say this place is deserving of Michelin "bib gourmand" status (4 prices out of category). Well cooked, creative dishes, plated well and prepared with fresh ingredients. Again, a great surprise.

Portions are modest and focus is on quality and flavour which means you can have starter and dessert. It's not noisy so you feel like you are dining privately. Will definitely go back

Always love the Prinsenhof. Just be aware that breakfast is meant solely for the hotel guests, and that they may turn you away.

Very stylish ambience while at the same time waiters were easy to deal with and made sure we had everything we needed.
