Lovely terrace with beautiful views over the water. Service was fast and super friendly.

We had delicious bitterballs. Bread with different spreads was also very tasty.

Staff is friendly and helpful. The admosphere is relaxing and during the summer you can sit near the water. I can definitely recommend there food and a must go when you are in Groningen.

Had a great lunch here. Definitely recommend the 2 person lunch platter. Staff was friendly and service was fast. The lunch platter was rich and plenty for 2 person's. As drink we ordered the custom brewed triple Belgian blond. Good bitter triple.

Shaded by trees the café offers seating next to one of the many canals in Groningen. We had burgers and bitterballen accompanied by brilliant dutch chips. They offer nice draught beer from a local brewery. Very nice.

A nice bar with friendly staff. It's located directly at the canal surrounding the historic center of Groningen. We sat at a small table near to the water and had some non alcoholic beer, of which they had a good choice. I would highly recommend it.

You can't beat the experience of sitting on the side of the canal, drinking a coffee, and soaking in the atmosphere surrounding the place. Lots of foot traffic passes nearby, but the place still holds a level of intimacy too it. The inside is nice as well, with a very relaxed vibe to it. The coffee is by far some of the best in the city as well. Can't wait to go again!

One of the best cafe/pubs in Groningen, located in a historical street at a canal in the centre. With sunny weather a great place to sit outside, inside a warm, pleasant atmosphere. Good selections of wines and beer.

I went to this place two days in a row. I don't know what I liked most, the canal view, the exceptional service, the home-made guacamole or the sweet potato fries. I guess all of them equally, but I would say you don't see such enthousiastic and friendly waiters every day. It seems I will be coming here often.

I liked a lot "de Sigaar". It was the perfect place to chill out after a fantastic day walking the streets of Groningen. It has a cosy ambience and the staff are very nice. On top of that the selection of special beers are a full thumbs up!
