Food Matterz

I have been here a couple times with friends, but this time I took my mom here when she visited. She also loved it , it's a very relaxing atmosphere, the staff are very nice and fast. The food is great , I have tried their cinnamon roll and the hummus mango chutney sandwich and they were both delicious, my mom tried one of their yogurt which she liked although the yogurt itself is a little bit on the sour side. The coffee is very good. I will definitely be back! And recommend it.

Amazing food, but wait is a bit longer.

Lovely coffee shop, lunch venue overlooking the canal. They serve a wide selection of coffees, teas (including the fresh mint 'tea' that is so popular in this Northern Dutch town), smoothies, cakes,yoghurt with fruit etc. There is also a large selection of organic products for sale.
The staff are friendly and helpful and most if not all of them speak good English. We have been there twice in 2 days for breakfast and then a cuppa the following afternoon. Try it before you start a hard day's shopping to set you up or at the end of a long day to refresh you after visiting Groningen's many historic attractions.

From the food, to the staff to the atmosphere, everything is beautiful in my opinion🥰

Wonderful atmosphere, service, food, and coffee. Have been there a few times to have breakfast or a mid-day snack and every time I was positively impressed by the quality and the taste of everything! Definitely recommended :)

Very nice place, nice food quality and interesting recipes. One opinion, you should make the toilet gender sign clearer, so I don't have to spend 20 seconds analyzing the design to know which is for men when I need to pee, they are almost the same ! 😅

Will go again! They kindly served acai bowls even though it was after 11:30am. The bowls were very cold and took ages to arrive, but the quality of the food and drinks was very high and worth the wait. Our servers were friendly and helpful. The vegan cinnamon rolls are amazing!

Great coffee and tasty bread with dips. Don’t forget to ask for whipped cream to your coffee. It’s delicious. Good service included.

Amazing açaí bowl and the staff is really friendly

The coffee here is excellent and the interesting specials keep things interesting- I recently had their "pumpkin spice" and found it a fun way to introduce fall. Nice atmosphere, nice staff, easy going place. Will return soon!
