Van Der Valk Hotel Akersloot

Food in Akersloot 100%beter than Sassenheim although service was excellent. I recommendit, service excellent.
But why oh why on a same priced meal is one skimped and the other more than ample.

We had dinner here everything was very tastefull and delicious and finally I could order sweet red wine after my dinner.
I m very sorry I didn't make a photo about my dish.

The room was very nice. Everything was neat and clean. There was a nespresso machine with some coffee cups, a safe and a mini fridge. The room was absolutely beautiful.

There are vending machines in the hall for when you need a quick snack or drink. Staff was friendly and room service was orderable through a qr code. Room service was only available in the evening, though.

Overall, a great experience. Definitely recommend.

Lovely hotel, clean, spacious and with average price.
The room has wide comfy bed, all the needed amenities: bathroom toiletries, safe, bath tub & shower gel, coffee machine, hot water for drink, mini fridge.
Staff is nice, welcoming, helpful & friendly.

It has a nice gym, sauna, awesome nice big pool & jacuzzi.

We came by car and It has free parking. Not sure how far & accessible it is by public transportation

Their breakfast is delicious with a wide variety of food, fruits and veggies and healthy options too.
Coffee is ok but not so good.

A modern classic. Excellent on all levels. Even the hotel restaurant is so good that locals come to eat in regularly it seems to me . Easily accessible.

What a lovely buzzing hotel. We loved everything. Staff is fantastic, except 1 elder member, who looked and acted like he had enough. A Special compliment to a young man DAAN , his service and attention was fantastic!!! Tumbs up for this hotel

Nice hotel at a convenient location. Didn't hear anything of the traffic though. Wellness and swimming pool are small bit really comfortable.
Breakfast was really nice.

We absolutely loved staying in this hotel. It's safe to say it was the nicest hotel we've ever stayed in. The spa and pool area is clean and the kids had a great time in the pool. The breakfast is very good with lots of choice. The rooms are huge and very clean. The staff are very friendly and took the time to converse in Dutch with my children as well as speak English to me. Free parking and free wifi.

Always count on Van der Valk hotels to give a great experience. Breakfast is always wonderful.

Five stars even though the TV didn't work (no TVs worked that night due to a general technical issue) and they used too many throw away items like the plastic cups (packed in plastic wrappers) in the bathroom instead of glasses, prepackaged portions of butter, jam and other stuff at breakfast. It might be more practical but it's environmentally questionable. Otherwise a great hotel with spacious rooms and bathrooms, good food an drinks. I liked the fact that the electricity in the room was always on without having to activate it with the room card so that we could charge our phones while out having breakfast.

Rooms are large and well equipped, great choice of food, I especially enjoyed breakfast. The restaurant can get busy in the evenings but there is always space to dine. Location is pretty good with Alkmaar close by and Amsterdam only a short drive.

Had a light dinner with friends, both coming back from Italy. Me by car, they by plane. Perfect location on the road back home. Kind and professional staff. The chosen light dishes looked great and more important, tasted wonderful.

I had a pleasant staying at this van der Valk hotel. We had an eighth persons family suite with more than enough space for my 6 persons family. Nice detail is the bathroom where 3 people can take a shower at the same time and if you whish another person can take a bath. Food was good as well and as the price quality ratio is excellent, we will likely come back here.

Fantastic place to stay. Reception isn't immediately noticeable when arriving in the car park, but my room had a whirlpool bath, reception team very friendly, catering staff attentive.

Had a lovely lunch with the family. Great service and delicious food. Definately coming back again. !

Good food, nothing fancy. The personnel are very attentive. Great place to have a diner with a big family. They are used to kids running around.

Had to walk a long distance to the room. Receptionist gave tip to park car on the other side. Perfect.

Great hotel with big and spacious rooms, modern design and all the comfort you need. Food is delicious and you have available gym and pool at your disposal at all time.

Had an amazing dinner here! Best restaurant in the area in my opinion. I've visited here multiple times a year now, never got disappointed.

Food was good. People were nice. They made a small mistake we did not really care about but still gave us free drinks to compensate.
