Great food, friendly servers and just an overall chill place for food. I often come here for lunch and to work during the day. The terrace is great and away from the main road and inside the decor is super chill and vintage.

I recommend the Lebanese bread. It's my all time favorite because it's a flavour explosion 💥

We went there for lunch, the weather was ok and the terrasse is quiet not close to a street. I tested the Lebanese dish very tasty. The pizza are big if you are 2 little eaters you can share one.

All in all a lovely restaurant! It's a big positive that the restaurant is away from the streetside, as it feels like there's a relaxed atmosphere thank to no traffic passing by which is something you do have in quite a few restaurants in Groningen. There are some excellent vegan choices available on the menu, and the food is presented very nicely and tastes just as good as it looks. The staff is friendly and keeps the place well organised, and keep it nice and tidy. Some minor negatives were that the cutlery could have been cleaner, and that the order of ingredients on the menu does not represent the proportions you end up receiving. For example for the Lebanese Bread it mentions as one of the first things the cherry tomatoes, but only has two of them on it that are cut in half. It's a minor critique but it is something that could be improved in order to further enhance the experience. Overall I had a lovely time and will definitely come back again!

Would definitely recommend the Lebanese Bread, and the Sweet Potato Chips with Parmesan Cheese.

Great place to have a nice lunch, a couple's of beers or great dinners with friends. The restaurant is a beautiful atmosphere. The books hanging from the ceiling near the Chesterfields is a unique feel. In the night hours the DJ rocks with his speaker wallpaper behind him.

Good food, good service, one of the best locations in the city, always a good time, especially on a friday afternoon!

Fun, casual place. Order alacart or have a full meal. Plenty of beer and cocktails. Large tables for big groups. Sofas for a more cozy seating.

Delicious lunch, nice atmosphere and buzz even when not so busy.

The food is really good. We had a celebratory dinner there and the staff let us bring some customized desserts with us which I thought was extremely nice. They don't have an insane amount of options on the menu, but the dishes they do serve are indeed worth it. Also, it is quite big which is nice if you are with a bigger party.

De Uurwerker is a lovely place for lunch, dinner, and drinks. You could go here to work, to talk/meet with friends, or just to enjoy the chill vibe. They have quite some space inside, but also outside when the sun is shining ☀ The food is very good and affordable, with multiple vegan/vegetarian options ✨

Trendy place with a limited but good menu (burgers, pizza, some salads, starters to share - also vege friendly, not pricy). It's a large establishment but nevertheless the service was right on top! We had a very nice evening.

Not the cheapest one but definitely worth the price. The French fries are also very good and crispy. Not moist from fat, very dry and delicious.
