Martini Hotel

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! We were extremely warmly welcomed and even received an upgrade to a beautiful room. The bed was wonderfully comfortable, and the hotel's location was ideal, centrally located with easy access to everything we wanted to explore. Additionally, the staff was flexible and allowed us to check out later. A great experience - I would definitely recommend this hotel!

My stay at the Martini Hotel was absolutely fantastic! This hotel offers an exceptional experience, and there's a standout feature that I must mention - the barman. His command of English was truly impressive and added a special touch to our time at the hotel.

Nice hotel-good location--room was okay-but that terrible plastic onsie bath tube. Service at the counter could be a little bit better organized.

Cute hotel, close to the city centre (less than 5 minutes by foot), right next to a supermarket. It's quiet. The room was a bit small but perfectly fine for one person. Comfy bed, nice shower. Good breakfast buffet (bit expensive at 15€). Super friendly and helpful staff. Would come here again. Just a bit annoying that you have to log into the WiFi once an hour.

I find myself wanting to write a review based on my experience. I spent two months with my friends at the Martini Hotel thanks to a study holiday. Despite the small problems that obviously also exist in one's own home, I have not encountered other problems, on the contrary, even for small problems the guys at the reception were available to help us. I've never had any problems with cleanliness.
》The cleaning is chosen when to have it done and also the change of sheets. It happened to me many times that cleaning was done automatically (clean bathrooms, emptied bins and change of towels).
》The quadruple rooms are slightly small, but you can easily adapt.
》 Breakfast can be made if requested for the cost of 10 euros: breakfast includes drinks (milk, juices, water and coffee), yoghurt, various types of cereals, soft bread and rolls, fruit, vegetables to maybe create a sandwich cheeses, cold cuts, jams...
》in the room there is air conditioning and television.
》the hotel has a common room where there are some appliances such as a microwave, kettle, you can use the plates and glasses, cutlery in case you have to eat in the common room.
》you can put your food in the fridge in case you don't want to go to the restaurant. The fridge is common small but fortunately there are two.
》the hotel is equipped with an elevator to reach the floors more easily.
》the location of the Hotel is perfect because it is located in an area where all the shops are well within walking distance. In case you want to reach other cities it is possible to do so because the station is a 15-minute walk away.
》the hotel also offers the possibility of the restaurant for lunch but also for dinner.

overall I am very satisfied. Thank you very much to the guys who are behind all this and do everything to make us comfortable.

A very good hotel with friendly, helpful staff. The location is perfect for exploring the city. The Weeva restaurant is superb! Breakfast is also excellent in terms of quantity, quality and service. The superior twin rooms are ideally sized and very comfortable; a few minor issues of maintenance needed but nothing to really detract from my enjoyment. I will be staying here again when I next visit the city.

The room and especially the bed linens are very clean. The bed is soft and relaxing. The bathroom is rather small, but it has a high rating for the value of money!

It's a lovely hotel. The staff go above and beyond to make sure you have a great stay. While the rooms are not massive, they are plenty enough for you to feel comfortable. The restaurant serves great food so you will always enjoy whatever you order. The hotel itself is situated in a very convenient place. There is a supermarket practically next door and you only have to walk across the road out the front contract the town shops. If you are looking for a nice place to stay while you go out and enjoy the sites, this is the place for you

I stayed there with my team for 6 days. Rooms are rather small, but sufficient and tidy. Food was very delicious and staff was friendly. I would definitely recommend this hotel

My girlfriend and I had a really nice stay here over the weekend for a really good price. the staff here is fluent in many languages and very friendly. if there is a wish they can fulfill, they will :)
The hotel itself has a really classical look, but is not old! It has a great charme!! The hotel has it's own great bar with good drinks and some snacks for average prices. A good alternative if you're not that much into exploring the nearby bars and restaurants of the city.

We got a room in the 4th floor (there is a little lift) facing the backyard. The room was fantastic. The furniture modern, the bed super comfortable and it was clean. The bathroom was a little bit small, but totally enough for one person :) there is no hairdryer, but you can ask for one at the reception! the room was very quite, we could sleep with a open windows without hearing anything than the bells of the church nearby. Not that much of a problem ;) WiFi is also included. The speed is over average and the connection quality in our room was very good. The room also got a pretty good TV with a good variety of channels from the countries around :) the roomservice came daily, but we saw no need to clean our room or change the towels since we only stayed for two days. But nevertheless we got two pair of towels hanging in a little bag on our door in case we wanted them - very courteous :)
Smoking is of course not allowed, but there is a huge ashtray right in the back of the hotel.

The breakfast was included with our stay and we were super surprised when we were told that breakfast on Saturday is till 11am and on Sunday till 11:30 am. Perfect for people who sleep a little longer. The breakfast itself is very nice in variation of chosen food (bread, buns, scrambled eggs with baconstrips, many delicious cheese, different sausages) and coffee and fresh pressed orange juice. Godverdamme so damn good! :)

We payed 15€ for using the parking spot in the backyard. Since there is no option to reserve one, it is good to give the reception a call and ask if there are spots available. You need to leave your car keys at the reception, because many cars are parking behind the other and the staff need to move the cars sometimes. But they are pretty skilled drivers and do a good job so no need to worry. Otherwise there are about 2 big car parks right around the corner - they cost a little more but the car stays where it is.

Overall it was one of the greatest places we stayed for a short trip to the netherlands! We will definitely come back if we visit Groningen again! Thank you for making our stay so nice!

Lovely hotel in a perfect location! Near to everywhere in the heart of Groningen. Polite stuff and especially clean rooms, perfect for budget. I strongly recommend!

In a great location in the middle of the town, close to all the main shops and attractions. The restaurant attached is bloody brilliant, with great food and staff, and reasonable prices too. The hotel bar is a nice quiet place to hang out, and has a good selection of beers. The rooms are comfy, spacious, and do the job well.

The room was small but just big enough. Same for the bathroom. But clean and comfortable. The service is great and the cafe and restaurant are very good. I'm a fan!

The location is right in the center of the city. You're in the middle of nightlife, but also near shops. There is a parking space close to the hotel. Also the busses stop in front of the hotel. The personal is really friendly. The bar is cosy and the restaurant is of good quality. The restroom is really clean. I really recommend this hotel. For overnight, but also for dinner.

We booked this hotel through PMH sport travel for the assen moto gp and couldn't of asked for a nicer place.

We were on the top floor where the rooms have been refurbished. Our comfort room consisted of a huge bed a large flat screen TV with a selection of channels and a shower room. The shower room was small but being new it was quite well thought out so everything fitted well..

Being the Moto gp weekend meant that the hotel car park was reserved for bikes only but there is a underground car park next door that when you check out you can get a discount voucher for which brings the price down a little.

All in all a great comfy modern hotel at the right price through PMH.

Fair prices especially for quality shower good view ect. Great reception till midnight, Rick took care of all my concerns 👑👑👑👑👑
