Absolute best food in the nicest atmosphere with great staff. Good pricing, plus really child friendly ! We will surely be back :)

Wonderful Service, really good Food.

Nice relaxed place to have a good meal. Generous with their portions. A definate place to try.

Normally steak is good, but they made it even more yummy. These people know proper ribeye and filet steak. The taster of 3 steaks was a great idea. I loved the appetisers too. The salmon tartar was just like sashimi, the rib bites were delicious and you don't have to deal with the bones. The calamari was also very nice and crisp. I especially enjoyed the cheesecake, who doesn't love cheesecake?! I would definitely go again and even plan a trip to their other location in Amersfoort.

The food at Fat dirck was really good as a starter we had bread with garlicdip and garlic chilidip. And as main we had a Fat Dirck Burger.

Nice place to have a steak.
Ribs were tender. Rib eye -despite not actually being one- was good. Music was to my liking (From Ray Charles to Jimmy Somerville to Earth Wind and fire to Queen. And no affluent whining kids exploring life whilst bothering everyone and their dogs to death.)

Great food. Great service. Great atmosphere. A very reasonable price compared to other places in Harderwijk. Jana, our server, was very friendly and attentive. 100% would recommend.

We had to wait a bit longer then we expected...but is was worth it!

Apatizer: veggie salad - delicious.

Main Course: steak ( 1st on the menu ) medium rare. Got it exactly the way I wanted. Very - Very good!

Desert: Dirck thingy with cream and strawberry's: don't bite your fingers while you're at it.....it's that good!

I'll be back at Fat Dirck as soon as I get back to Harderwijk.

First of all, this is a restaurant for big eaters. Second: all the dishes are prepared home made. Example - home made Bailey liquer. Portions are huge, meats are well prepared and tasty. Deserta are delicious. Tip: call and make a reservation in advance, because most of the time it is a full house.
