Absolutely delightful experience! The owner is very attentive to every single customer. The food is beyond delicious, the atmosphere is lovely, and it is personeel friendly. You feel very welcome and taken care of! What else do you need for an excellent experience?
At the very last minute, the owner found out that we came to have a birthday dinner, and in no time, the dessert with the candle appeared on the table!

Everything was great, delicious and gluten free. The food was amazing! The service was also good and highly polite, open to help and with great empathy for the children. They made for us, safe gluten free meals ❤! Asparagus and fish had been perfectly just like crispy chicken with spinach and peas and beef with white asparagus! The carpaccio was the best! Great location to eat and enjoy your time with family and friends! The gluten free beagles was just perfect 🤗.

A late booking for 4 resulted in a wonderful experience right from the moment we sat down. The owner and staff were very welcoming, friendly and attentive. Following a lovely meal and great wine were even offered a lift to the Chateau where we were staying as the local taxis had a 2 hour delay. Thank you again.

THE place to go in Valkenburg to unwine and enjoy the beauty of Valkenburg. It's a great location outside of all the busy traffic so you can enjoy a drink or amazing food. Each time I go biking in Valkenburg I always come here to grab a beer and a good lunch.

What a hidden gem! As we approached we were greeted by rabbits and little goats together in the field sloping down from the restaurant. Everything about this very friendly family run restaurant was superb! Food was absolutely delicious.Thank you!

We came across this restaurant purely by chance whilst out walking in the woods just behind. Our initial intention had been to head back into the town centre for the more obvious but less appealing tourist restaurants which Valkenburg is full of. However, something about the location, the aromas coming from the kitchen and the sounds of happy chatter from the guests made us head up the steps and enquire about a table. Initially we though we might be refused because it was a pretty busy Friday night but the host could not have been more accommodating and we were quickly seated on the terrace and presented with an excellent looking menu. As expected, the menu is in Dutch. We were helped by our neighbours at the next table with the translations. A Sole Meuniere was an easy choice for me as was Weiner Schnitzel for my wife both proceeded with a potato and garlic soup. We washed everything down with La Trappe beers which were the idea drink for the occasion. The service appeared to be a family run affair and was friendly, efficient and helpful. They really made us feel truly welcome. I'd love to head back here at some point and try more of the menu.

A cozy mum&dad's place, with honest, tasty old-skool Dutch kitchen at its best. Lovely service. A great way to spend an evening.

You need to purposefully find this place, you'll only stumble upon it if you go for a walk in the forest. The food is splendid, the staff is very friendly and you'll get to talk to the owners of you want. No thrills but just very good food at decent prices.

My friend is Vegan and they made a very special dish for her. Friendly staff. Amazing views.
