PLUS Giethoorn

This is one of the most picturesque village. A must to visit, if ever in Holland. In its own right, this is pretty much like mini Venice with its much calming n seren waterways with thatched roof houses n pretty gardens on both sides of canal like fairytale stories.

This is a very nice supermarket with almost everything you need for your home. Every produce is very fresh and they have variety of grocery items, fresh breads and bakery items. Most of the vegetables are very fresh. The good thing is that, the price is very reasonable and it is an economical supermarket

A great little museum that gives a comprehensive history of the area. The rooms and displays are all well laid out, with sufficient information, but be aware of the lady in the outside toilet. 😲😂
Make it your first stop before you head off on the other paths as it will give you a better appreciation.

Prices are surprisingly reasonable, considering how close it is to Giethoorn. The assortment of items reminded me of Albert Heijn's so it's possible to find anything.

All good, of course not the cheapest place, as they have a great variety of fresh food, bakery, fish, meat ... which you can't compare with low price Aldi etc.
Very nice staff, super helpful for foreigners who do not master the Dutch language at all.

Location is perfect. There is a large free parking space besides this supermarket. a colleague backed for me when something was not on the shelf. They could provide more options for vegetarians with their salads.

This store is similar like Famous Albert heijn in Netherlands. You will find all the food items grocery and all needy things for home from here. It’s near to Giethoorn boat riding place so you can grab snacks drinks from here and enjoy your boating.

Amazing place, like in fairy tales

Long opening time even at weekend, very nice personnel, fresh products are high quality. Really a very nice shop. If you plan a picnic at Giethoorn during weekends, you dont have to carry food ingredients from home. Plus Giethoorn offers all. A very valuable added value to Giethoorn.

Big supermarket with cheap and various goods, we could get all we need as tourists. Easy to find because it is near the bus station. The staffs were nice and helpful.

i think only biggest supermarket near by , next to parking area, you can get all the stuff . you can buy all the groceries or things for your picnic while in Giethoorn village. price are same like other supermarket. Nice experince
