Nice museum for a quick visit. Information is in English and Dutch. It can be seen in about 30 min - 1h depending if you read everything and watch every video.

You can get weight and get a certificate that you’re not a witch. There’s a toilet and a small shop.

The general admission per adult is 7.50, although if you have the museum card the entrance it’s free.

The scales to get weight are on the ground floor, but videos and further information are on the first floor. I did not see an elevator.

The website of the museum offers reservation and we did reserve, but people were not being asked for it. So maybe reserve to be sure for a spot in case is a busy day.

Great fun! A really nice little museum with very friendly staff. And the great news is that none of us are witches!!!!

The museum itself is very small, but super interactive and interesting! And you can buy lots of unusual souvenirs for a very reasonable price!

Oudewater is an authentic town with a 750-years history. Here you can check yourself - if you are a witch or not.🤪🧙‍♀😊

Very interesting museum about witches and how in the sixteenth and seventeenth century they where hunted. Visitors can step on the original scales from 1482 to be weighed and you will receive a personalised certificate - the Certificaet van Weginghe

A fascinating museum with videos in both Dutch and English. You can be weighed on the scales to find out it you’re a witch

Cute little museum with very friendly staff. The audio visual presentation is brilliantly made and the books present are a great little collection. For many, the weighing experience is fun and the stories are nice. It's very small though.

If you're in doubt if a family member is a witch this is the place for you. Tested over the centuries, both professional & informative...

A great museum on the history of the persecution of "witches" in historical times. The building itself is lovely and the highlight is you get to step onto the original scales for the 1500's and receive an official letter if you are a witch or not. It's a fun and interesting time in a very cute dutch town. Highly recommend.

Cute and fun museum. The upstairs has a video and a few displays in an atmospheric attic. Getting weighed and getting the certificate stating you're not a witch was the highlight of my day! Super friendly person was staffing the day we went.

It’s small but it’s full of history and we were welcomed by lovely people. I finally have my certificate proving that I m not a which. Plus point: it’s located at a lovely city. I strongly recommend!!

Halfway around the world to do this and it fulfilled all my dreams! Certificate is framed on my wall and I now have a wonderful memory. Everyone must do this in the Netherlands!

The fairest place to weigh witches on the sixteenth century. No person weighed here ever got condemned.
