There is no possible to order the ticket if you have museum card. You can visit the museum and obtain the free pass for museum. The staff are helpful in directing to exhibits. The ticket covers the visit to ship yard as well.

Quite a good surprise, specially if you have kids! They can visit the ships and get to know a bit of the history of this part of the Netherlands

A beautiful place worth visiting and buying tickets in order to see the ship from the inside. It is very beautiful and contains a lot of details and explanation, the workers there are very friendly and nice, you will be happy after this visit and take pictures.

Personally I am not into ships; but this was one good adventure!
You get access to an actual ship which was used for trading and there are decent activities for the kids.

Very interesting to visit. Experience the feeling of what life on the Batavia would have been like - cramped quarters, low ceilings, steep stairs etc. Great work by those who built the replica. There are also workshops demonstrating their crafts. Other projects are also in progress.
The Shipwreck Museum in Fremantle Australia has the actual wreck on display.

Very nice replica, piece of history, many rooms, few floors. I recommend!

Really nice museum, you can see and visit old boats! And there's a delicious Lindt store with chocolates close the museum.
About museum, it's great to go with a guide who explains everything!

One of the best museum I have ever been to. The reason is because it's a hands on emersive experience. I wouldn't classify it as museum but an active workshop where you can learn and take part in building a ship of the past.

There's a working blacksmith where you/your child can strike the iron when it's hot. A few carpenters, a rope makers and a sail maker. Plenty of things to do and plenty of people to ask questions.

I really didn't expect it, but this was quite a nice museum. We enjoyed the part with the history of Flevoland and the archeology lab. The historical shipyard was also fun, but not everything was open, probably because we visited on a weekday. I would love to come back on a weekend and see all the little workshops.

This museum consists of 3 parts. The indoor that is pretty normal. The outdoor schipyard and the batavia ship. If you give a 3 or 4 star for the indoor museum, you have to visit the two outdoor parts. The entrance is a bit strange fot the shipyard. In fact there are two. Highly recommended if it is not raining. Ps this area is pretty good for Dutch raining standards.

The museum has three parts - the replica ship Batavia, the museum, and the shipyard. In the shipyard and on the Batavia there are craftsmen working on maintenance and construction, which is extremely interesting to see from up close. There is a convenient car park right next to the facility.

It's a great museum combined with a ship's wharf. Not jus lt a ship, but very old ships from centuries ago. You can also visit the Batavia, a replica from the shop that sunk in 1628.

Most of the things I have seen are in Dutch, but there are lot of volunteers you can ask for info. And maybe there are audiotour available, not sure about that.
And kids under 10/12 yrs will run around the ship and play in the water theater regardless of what language is used for signings.

And they can even be a blacksmith and forge their own iron!

I arrived here in April when the place was unfortunately closed. I got a set of new tickets, so I can come back when the corona closure has come to an end. Great service!! Look forward to coming to see the museum and the fabulous VOC ship.
