Cafe Brasserie Het Heerenhuis

We came for lunch without any reservations and they were full but thank goodness they were so kind to give us a table. After we sat down comfortably, I saw the waiter shuffling the tables around making changes to the floor plan and tables that were already nicely set. Thank you! Lunch was so good, I am so glad we ordered many different things on the menu to try. I strongly recommend their sweet potato fries with truffle sauce and their big jac burger with homemade spicy sauce! There is free parking right next to the restaurant very convenient especially when it’s not exactly easy to find parking around the neighbourhood.

We used the outside bnb room nr 3. It was slightly chilly but the provided heater eventually warmed it up. The tv had some lines in the image but the view over the polder grassland is compensation enough. The staff was friendly and helpful eventhough we had some extra requests. The beds are medium soft and comfortable. In-room toilet and bathroom were nice. It was a fair price.
The restaurant had great charm and again friendly staff. We enjoyed some drinks but had no time to sample the food.

5 minutes from De Zaanse Schans. I had a lunch near 2 pm. It was quiet, not busy. Service was good. Kind staff. The food was satisfied as well.

Perfect location, with good food and lovely staff. We went here with our friends from the UK with two kids. The team gave us a beautiful table and immediately arranged a high chair for the baby. The portions were also good for their price. We will return and recommend this restaurant, especially for those coming from Zaanse Schans, for lunch or dinner.

A really cute spot for dinner. Had lots of salmon and white fish. The wine was great. Atmosphere was adorable. A great place to stop when biking around the windmills.

I usually don't give 5 stars but the bistro Heerenhuis deserves them. Lovely atmosphere, top quality food and the service was top. All young who served but they knew their business. The prices were ok.

I had one of the best dishes of my life here. It was a special: a baked code cooked perfectly with asparagus and hollandaise sauce. The servers were delightful. The ambience is comfortable.

The food here is excellent. We had the smoked salmon pasta and the house burger. Ordering beer was a little challenging because the menu only listed Heineken. After some back and forth with the sever we ordered Affligem Dubble, which was nice after drinking nothing but Kolsch in Köln, Germany for a week. The restaurant is cute and cozy and my only real complaint was the 1990’s pop love ballads playing on the radio.

We ate at the restaurant and stayed at the B&B. The restaurant is very nice and the food is delicious.

We had a rental car and loved the location of the B&B. A beautiful area out in the countryside quite close to the windmills at Zaanse Schans. The air even smells like chocolate! We enjoyed the view from the room and all the windows. Loved the hot shower and the access to the kitchen where they left breakfast items that we could prepare for ourselves. It was also 20-30 minutes drive to both Keukenhof and the North Sea. There's a bus stop right in front that can take you right into Amsterdam. The only issue we had is that the wifi didn't always work in our room.

Great place for dining in a relaxed atmosphere. Variety of wines, excellent service, friendly team.

Burger was perfect. Local beer was absolutely beautiful.
