Very nice museum with arts . I spent quite time there . Also there is a coffee food place .

Gift shop love it coz have a lot of cute miffy staff . The Miffy museum just in the front . So you can visit both . ( Miffy museum need pay and need boo on line ）

Went to the reopening of some part of the museum and I must say, I loved the place! The museum contains a great mix of really interesting, beautiful and unusual exhibits. They are presented in an innovative way, which makes the tour through the museum very engaging. Totally recommend.

Very nice modernist. We went there at the opening day with a lot people. The exibition shows old paintings beside modern art. This is a good idea to fresh it up for visitors. Also a lot artists shows collagen and present their arts. In the parallel building was an chair-exibition with a lot artistic architectual stooldesigns. We spend about 3 hours there. The museum has also elevators. You have to climb otherwise a bit over 3 levels - 4 with the roof. I like also the great implementation of this museum in the historical building - well done🏰🏛.

Really great museum! The photo realism exhibition was really well done. For the English speakers, basically everything is translated. Also amazing gift shop as well!

Perhaps because some parts of the museums were renovated at the time of our visit, most of the exhibits we get to see is about Utrecht as the center of culture and art (plus the Utrecht boat in the ground level, which reminded me of remains of boats in Swedish museum). However, the best part for me would be the Bruna exhibition at the top floor (since Nijntje museum across the street is catered towards very young children)... Miffy/Nijntje character and Bruna's works are captivating. Would love to go back and visit when the renovation is finished.

My favourite museum I went to in NL. Such a great collection of both local and further afield artists. I loved the museums art project with the small canvases too.

I would definitely come back in the future for more exhibits. Great mixture of old and modern art (though mostly modern) 🫶

Love the recent update on telling the story of Utrecht. Creative & innovative use of space in not just storytelling, but involved discovery.

One of the best museums in the Netherlands, with several nice exhibitions every year, most of them really well curated.

The building itself is amazing, it has a beautiful garden and a little restaurant. Charging place for electric vehicles and a nice museum store.

Tip, on the last floor you can visit the the permanent exhibition of the studio of Dick Bruna, the creator of nijntje👌🏼

It is the first time that I went to a painting museum. The pictures online do it absolutely no justice. The moment you walk into the gallery you will realize why those pieces are art. It doesnt only tingle your eyes but also some of your other senses such as smell.

It blows my mind how you can see painting from hundreds of years ago and how you can inspect them from closeby. Close enough to see the cracks and the test of time. It is amazing to see a moment of history on a canvas per observation and sometimes imagination from the artist.

I like to observe facial expressions to try and figure out what the person was thinking at the time. Were they tired after posing for so long? Were they bored? Did they finally achieve their goals? Etc.

Centraal Museum has many items and seasonal collections, but their main collection was the best for me to admire. This definitely has sparked something new in me and has inspired me to visit those kind of musea.

The final thought that this place left me with was "what will people see from us in 500 years into the future? What will remain and what will be interesting enough?"

A small but very nice museum. The exhibition “de bentvueghels” is really interesting with a lot of good texts, descriptions and of course paintings. Very well done!

Nice installations and a good museum. We really enjoyed it. And also the coffee and the sandwiches in the cafeteria were good :)

My favorite museum in Utrecht, Netherlands 🇳🇱. I am continually amazed by the Dutch's originality and bravery in mixing the modern with the traditional. If you love the work of Italian maestro Caravaggio, you will notice several important commissions from artists like Gerard van Honthorst and Hendrick ter Brugghen who attended his school. Included in the museum card.

Definitely a museum to watch! Each time I visit I am surprised and impressed by their ever growing collection. On this visit I was struck by the thought-provoking exhibit from the Museum of Equality and Difference (MOED). This makes a definite contribution to the debate around race, diversity and inclusion in Dutch society. Worth a visit!

Probably the most diverse museum in Utrecht. Fantastic displays, very helpful staff, and the building itself is a work of art. Make sure you go check out the stinky 1000 year old boat downstairs.
