Restaurant LOOF

Loved everything about this place!
I went here on the second day of Christmas and the restaurant was nicely decorated. It was also in a great location, right next to the domtoren.
The service was great: our drinks and food came fast and our server was very nice.
One thing that surprised me about the women's facilities is that they supplied pads and tampons for free. Very nice touch!
The food itself was good for its pricepoint. Loved the Mediterranean touch to the menu as I've never tried anything like this before.
I would definitely go here again and also recommend others to go!

Walked in without reservation, but were seated immediately . Even though there were two huge parties, the service and staff remained impeccable and friendly.
The quality of the food was excellent, nicely plated. The prices were fair.
We highly recommend visiting this place. We went on a whim and were very impressed. Repeat customers if we only lived closer.

I visited restaurant LOOF on Thursday, Oct 7 for the first time, after an afternoon of "touristing" in Utrecht. Our choice was made after a look at the menu and the greeting we received from the waiter at the door. Even though it was quite busy the staff was attentive whenever needed, never intrusive, as they often are in New York. The menu choices great and every thing came quickly and was equally delicious. Portion sizes were good, prices are fair for the meals offered.
I will remember to add Loof to my list of restaurants to revisit and recommend to friends and family.
Definitely worth a trip!!

We came here as a party of 4 after reading the good reviews online. We did not get disappointed although we had high expectations. As locals, we never expected much from this restaurant, as it is in a tourist hotspot right next to the dom. But how wrong we were: outstanding service, how refreshing that was! although the place was packed, and it got a bit noisier, the service remained calm and always had time for a friendly chat at the table. And great food for decent prices: We had 3 courses each, all different plates and non were disappointing. Although only two open red wines made me suspicious, I very much enjoyed the primitivo I tried. Tab water was filled up without having to ask for it. We had a great evening. Thanks!

Good choices of beer, and a fantastic fried fish. Located under the main church of Utrecht, in Domplein, is easy to reach and the service is friendly and efficient. Good prices overall.
