LOAF sourdough bakery

Wow, the best vegan cinnamon bun we’ve had so far. Coffee was also nice, the price is very good and reasonable, atmosphere was cozy and chill, and lastly the staff are friendly! Definitely my favorite bakery now in Utrecht!

I’ve been to so many vegan bakeries around the world and Loaf has been my favourite! I lived in Utrecht for a few months but have moved away and miss this lovely cafe 💗

It is beautiful to see the creativity put into the weekly favours and the specialty bakes! Their sourdough loaves are incredible and really elevate a hummus-and-bread style student meal 👼🏻

Totally worth it. The coffee is very good, but the pastries are to die for.

The service is always helpful and the atmosphere is very cozy, as the place is more intimate.

They have such a nice garden in the back! ☀

If you like acidic coffee, this is good coffee place for you. Possibility to sit also in backyard.

Superb bread, fresh pastries and delicious coffee. The bread tends to sell out fast so make sure to get there early-ish. While we were there, we saw them bringing out a fresh batch of pastries so you will always find something you'll like. The coffee is great, especially the filter one. Also, get a cruffin.

This all vegan bakery focuses on delicious sourdough breads but makes amazing pastries and viennoiserie as well. I can recommend everything they make - from bread to pastries. Loafs breads are some of the best I’ve had! They have a great crust and stay fresh for quite a while - which is a sign of quality!

Their pastries are not too sweet and thus perfect for me! The cinnamon buns are usually always available, but they also have croissants, pain au chocolate, cakes, cruffins (croissant dough in muffin form), cookies, and other daily specials. It’s always worth checking them out. Make sure to be early to get the best selection - since it’s a small establishment they often sell out quickly.

It’s a small cafe, so the atmosphere is rather crowded and way too “second hand” vibe (for my taste), but their friendly service and awesome products make up for it :)
I wish they opened on Sundays too 😅

The only place where I get my bread. Freshly baked, delicious and it’s plant based. The cinnamon bun is my favorite. You can taste the goodness and care put in every bread in the baker. Love this local baker!!

The best bakery in Utrecht, the staff is friendly and very lovely, the bread and pastry are very delicious, the place is cosy and decorated well, you feel good, peace when you be there, it is a recommended place if you like to study or read a book because it is pretty and quiet. Unfortunately, they don't open all week, maybe because it is too expensive! Especially after the inflation.

It is a small bakery diamond of Utrecht. And the best bread in the whole city. From baguette to my favourite zaden or blonde. Focaccia is fantastic as well!

Great bakery and cafe. A really cozy vibe with a record player and plenty of cool records. Coffee and cinnamon bun were both great! Small but very cute and a great place to do some work

Cosy place. We had some cappuccinos and one of their cakes but we were unlucky that they were out of their famous homemade breads. Hopefully next time! 🤞🏼🥖☕

the best bakery in Utrecht without a doubt. I am a big fan of different type of breads and pastries. I can reassure you that Loaf is the place. I need to walk for 22minutes to reach them but it is worth it 👌

As a bread lover, I’m always looking for bakeries with good quality bread and pastries, especially sourdough. I highly recommend LOAF, best bread in Utrecht in my opinion!

Amazing gem, just near the center of Utrecht. The bread has great taste, good texture, this is really a bakery you should visit. A little store and nice music as well. Love it!

Lovely and light living room interior, vinyl records, amazing coffee and cinnamon buns, tasty sourdough bread. Very sweet owner as well. We live outside of Utrecht but will come back just for this place!
