Best food prepared lovingly from Mia and her husband. Delicious fresh juices and proper local food. Everything tasted like eating at someone’s home. After trying all the food options on the Juara side of the island, Mia’s Cafe is above and beyond.
Try the Eggplant Sambal, turmeric fried chicken, sotong goreng (crispy fried squid) homemade Roti Canai for breakfast, iced lemon tea & banana milkshake and so much more!
There are also little bungalows on the beach in front, operated by her! We‘ll be staying here the next time we visit Tioman Island.

Wonderful menu; quite innovative as well. Ate there several times. Mia and her husband are very pleasant and helpful and it is clear that this is an owner run business. Amazing setting.

This was our favourite place to eat while on Tioman. It’s run entirely by a friendly couple so get there early and beat the rush because it’s justifiably popular. Try the spicy ginger and garlic tofu…divine.

Great vibe and food. Location is just next to a small road, that leads through the village and about 50 m from the beautiful beach.
It is open till afternoon which makes it a lovely spot for breakfast and lunch.

Loved it! Everything we ordered tasted great. Would really recommend the banana chocolate pancakes and also the turmeric chicken fried rice. Also relatively cheaper compared to other places on this side of the island.

Food was awesome, we stayed 3 nights and had our meals here, owner is Malay but speaks mandarin well. Butter chicken for dinner and banana pancake was a hit for the children. Tomyam and fried rice cooked with fresh ingredient. Come early as supplies is limited and kitchen close at 9pm.

Friendly owners, tasty and affordable food. Would really recommend coming here but bare in mind that there might be a long waiting time for your food to arrive as I believe there's only 1 cook, so I highly recommend if you order in advance. But nonetheless, it was a pretty good dinner overall!

We ordered the seafood fried rice, crispy squid (sotong celup tepung) and paprik chicken. All 3 are good. The squid was fresh and portion was good for the price we paid. Recommended humble spot for lunch in Kg Juara 😍

Ate here in the morning to fuel up for a hike. We had their pratas, plain, cheese and banana egg made fresh. Ordered fruit juices too and noticed the uncle rode out of the store to get more fruits instead of just telling us they’re out of stock. Thank you cik :’)

Had a nice dinner here. Surprisingly they used metal straws (go green!). Had the fried sotong and kuey teow goreng; friends had their mee goreng mamak, banana milkshake, and tomato sauce kuey teow. They were all really tasty; not to mention 2 cute kittens were going around entertaining us during our meal 😇

Mia’s food is very tasty and delicious!! Loved her banana milk shakes, potato curries, cheese rôties and everything else I tasted. You might have to wait a bit in evening as it gets busy but really worth it! Thanks Mia, will miss your beautiful smile and your great food.🌴😋🌺

First off, all reviews that mention poor service don’t acknowledge this is a single human running an entire restaurant- a fact well signposted! Yes its a shame to rock up and find the kitchen is closed, but theres other places within 20m walk. On one occasion we did wait 2 hours, but at that price and quality the wait is worth it. So if you want a delicious cheap eggplant sambal (and other local dishes) and have time, this is your spot! If not, either show up at 5:45pm or try somewhere more expensive.

Great food and friendly owners! Highly recommend the vegetable curry and tomyam. Also got help with booking a taxi back to Tekek. Thank you for the perfect lunch after a long hike.

Simple yet quite welcoming little café. Had the red chicken with plain rice which is slightly spicy but very good. Reasonable prices. Recommended.

Nice place to have your breakfast, lunch and dinner in Kg Juara

This restro is a highlight of our stay in Juara island. The food is fabulous, non MSG, dedicatedly cooked and nicely served. We came back 2 times. Love their squid salad, beehoon, koay teow, seafood fried rice, mixed juice drink. The wait is long as chef wife cooks each dish and her hubby serves and make drinks but we just brought along Uno and played, or wandering around the beach. ^^ We got plenty of time . One time my kid ordered water melon juice and even amongst the busy time, the husband drove out to buy water melon to make the drink. Instead of saying, sorry, can you order other on our menu he prioritized the customer's need. We love their humble decent way of running the business.
