The Station Tioman

We loved it so much here we extended our stay by a week! The place is very relaxing and the staff are welcoming. Hilde is super helpful at recommending things to do and places to eat. The chalets had everything you needed and the beds are so comfy. We hope to visit again in the future and would definitely recommend.

Me and my partner stayed here on a cabin on the beach. Was absolutely fantastic. The cabin was lovely, had everything that you could possibly need. The people who worked here were lovely too, extremely friendly and always on hand to make sure you're okay and offer suggestions for the island.

There is nothing negative that I could say about my stay here! I particularly enjoyed lounging on the hammock looking out at the sea for hours on end.

This is the perfect Beach Chalet for a sea and sunset view holiday getaway.
They were extremely accommodating and allowed us to check in early.
The rooms were clean and very comfortable.
Overall, I had a great experience with The Station Tioman; the staff and the owner was incredibly helpful, and the amenities were great.
Not to forget the baguette sandwich tuna from The Station Tioman cafe was superb (crispy and yummy)!! must try.

Stayed in The Station Tioman back in February and such a long overdue review for an amazing place to stay. The room is spacious for me and my best-friend. Even though, our room didn't get the full sea view, but we still able to enjoy the sound of waves and still able to view the bluest sea ever on a sunny day! Marcella and Hilde, being such a great host, making sure that i get my coffee while i do my work remotely. Internet was good for work, and best thing is, you can work and take your lunch time with a dip in the sea.. and continue to work.. Great place! and its worth it!

Wow, this place is special! Glowing turquoise waters, living coral on your doorstep, the biggest parrot fish I’ve ever seen. Absolute paradise! The chalet is beautiful, the staff are lovely, and there’s lots of great restaurants nearby. I hope to come back again. I’ve stayed in a lot of beach chalets over the years and this was the best! Thanks so much!

Fantastic experience all round. Room was clean with a mosquito net over the bed. Right on the beach which was perfect too. We loved our stay here.

Solo trip - perfect location

The Station was the perfect location for me and I can highly recommend it to other solo traveler’s. Being able to walk to 2 or more Restaurants easily , safely and enjoy a lunch or dinner was great. Walking out of the cabin and directly onto a beautiful sandy beach with the possibility to snorkel right there was perfect. If you are a diver , there is a dive center next door.
Hildi is the perfect host, making sure you are comfortable and arranged transport when I needed to get to the airport.
I will definitely return :)

Absolutely loved staying here. We had a bungalow which was right on the beach with a balcony and a hammock to sit and watch the sea. The room was more than adequate,the shower was hot and had good pressure. The internet worked without any issues. I would highly recommend staying here, it was perfect

We spent a week here reconnecting as a family. First proper break for years. The beach is beautiful and we loved being able to just run down for a dip in the ocean. The croissant breakfast was 5 star and we really felt at home. We will return! Tioman is an absolute gem if you’re looking to chill. Amazing snorkelling, diving and then you can do a hike in the pristine jungle. See if you can spot the Chameleons. The Station was the perfect place for us and we were super happy with the food options available around us.

Such an amazing location and you can almost have the beach all to yourself. The hosts, Hildi and Marcella were amazing and very helpful. All rooms come with high speed Internet for your needs, and there's a cute cafe overlooking the beach for you to have drinks and snacks. The cafe opens at 4pm, but they were kind enough to host us when we went at 12pm. They are very flexible and helpful, and will cater to your needs in whatever way they can. Definitely staying here the next time I visit!

I stayed at the Tioman Station for 4 days and absolutely loved it here. It’s so pretty, peaceful and relaxing! I stayed in one of the beach chalets and loved falling asleep to the sound of the waves. The chalet is basic but super comfortable and clean. And nothing beats having your own veranda with hammock overlooking the beach. I also very much appreciated the morning coffees and evening sundowners at the cafe. Hildi and Marcella have created a special place and made me feel very welcome. I’d love to stay with them on a next visit to Tioman.

We've seen quite a few island destinations in Malaysia by now, but would particularly like to recommend The Station Tioman as a gem on Tioman Island. The location is unique, walking distance to Kampung Tekek and with a house reef worth seeing.
It is very positive that the Internet connection (especially in contrast to other places on the island) is very powerful, here the dream of working from anywhere can come true.
Hildi and Marcella serve perfect coffee in the morning and delicious specialties in the afternoon. They are also happy to help organize excursions.
We have already recommended The Station Tioman several times and will definitely spend a (short) vacation there again.

We were so lucky to have found this beautiful spot in Tioman with it's traditional rustic cottages and jungle beach setting. The beautiful beach with it's clear waters were a safe and clean for the children to play in, with great snorkelling. Rooms were clean and comfortable with excellent working AC and hot showers. The drinks and snacks available were perfect- delicious mid morning coffee and excellent sundowner drinks ( the snakebites were a firm favourite!) But most of all, our hosts, Hildi and Marcella were the best! They made us feel so welcome, nothing was too much trouble and were able to offer suggestions for making the most out of our stay in Tioman, whether it be a jungle trek or a restaurant we should try. Thank you Hildi and Marcella for letting us be a part of your family at The Station, we will definitely be back!

My first time in Tioman Island and it couldn't be better.
The chalet are simple but have all what you need for the stay. Mine was just facing the beach and I loved going to sleep with the sounds of the waves.
Hildi and Marcella are great host, caring and attentive. They help out organising snorkeling and jungle safari. Many restaurants option are available on the nearby.
Planning to visit The Station again!

We just came back from a 3 day weekend at the Station Tioman and absolutely loved it! We were 6 adults and 5 kids under 7 years old and everyone had a blast. Marcella helped us plan wonderful day trips to the surrounding islands and snorkeling spots: simply magical! Probably the best snorkeling in SEA! We saw sharks, a sea turtle, sting ray, and tons of other beautiful fish just a short 15 minutes boat ride from the beach. Even the coral reef right in front of the resort is spectacular. Even the little ones (4 years old) were able to enjoy it with their decathlon full snorkeling head masks.

The cabins are simple but perfect, with a comfortable bed, mosquito net, fan, aircon, and warm water. We had the ocean front bungalows and it is simply spectacular to wake up on the beach facing the sea and also watch the sunset from your balcony.

There are a couple of restaurants just 5 minutes from the resort with a wide range of simple asian and western dishes. You can find something for everyone! And a small shop with essential is behind the resort.

We will definitely be back. The perfect place to disconnect and unwind. And try the pina coladadas! Delicious!! :)

If you want to have a wonderful time in Tioman, I highly recommend Tioman Station.
The bungalows on the beach are really perfect. Very clean, with air conditioning, a comfortable bed and a sea view terrace, by the beach with a small hammock to have a rest.
Hildi is really very kind and welcoming and can help you organize everything on site.
In the evening you can also have a small fresh fruit juice or a pina colada.
Really awesome!! I can't wait to coming back 😍

Hildis place is nothing short of exceptional. Thoroughly enjoyed the beach front and partial sea view chalets !
Rooms were comfortable and the location is spot on, as it's near the food and duty free shops when you want drinks for the night. The beach front is very private and they helped organise/advise all our excursions possible in the island.

Truly a gem of a place in the wonderful island of Tioman. Was above and beyond my expectations. Definitely coming here for another stay 😊👌

Amazing place at the end of Tekek village, with almost the whole beach just to yourself.
The bungalows are basic, but has everything you may need and stand right on the beach. You wake up and go to sleep with the sound of waves... The hosts are extremely welcoming and caring, helped us to organize all our activities while on the island.
We truly had the best time here, highly recommended.

Had an awesome time here, the accommodation is good and Hildi and Marcella are wonderful hosts. The house reef is right outside your door and has great snorkeling. They also arranged diving for us and this did not disappoint. Highly recommended coming to Tioman and staying here.

Our stay at The Station beyond exceeded our expectations. First, you are greated with a beautiful view, warm people, and comforting, clean quarters. We enjoyed waking up with an ocean view, our time off the grid (mostly), and scuba diving just a few minutes down the beach. But the best part was the amazing hospitality we recieved during the whole entire stay. Light but yummy food, tasty drinks, and great company is what you will find at The Station. We almost felt weird ordering things because the hosts really make you feel like you've been friends for life 🤣💓
