Berjaya Tioman Resort

We had amazing time with Berjaya properties. The rooms are spacious and beds are good for an amazing sleep. Some rooms are little run down but property was quick to respond and change as needed. The service is amazing. All staff welcomed with smile and every request was met with ease. The food was amazing specially considering the dietary restrictions which our group had - vegetarian.
The hotel also provides snorkeling as well as hiking tours which were well managed. We thoroughly enjoyed. Thanks Berjaya team for making our stay joyful. And once again a special thanks for Chef for amazing food.

We had a wonderful stay at Berjaya Hotel in Tioman. The location was absolutely stunning, with lush greenery and a pristine beach right at our doorstep. The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, going above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction. Their warm and genuine smiles were a constant source of delight, making us feel genuinely valued as guests. From check-in to dining experiences, they made sure all our needs were met throughout our stay. The rooms were clean and comfortable, providing a relaxing atmosphere after a day of exploring the island. The dining options were also excellent, offering a variety of delicious local and international cuisine. I particularly enjoyed dining with a view of the sea. Overall, Berjaya Hotel in Tioman provided a perfect blend of natural beauty and warm hospitality, making it an unforgettable vacation spot. I can't wait to return!

We went in 2012 and loved the place a lot , we came back this year 2023 and had a very pleasant stay. The location of this resort is amazing and peaceful, there are many facilities and aménagements. Rooms are clean , breakfast is good. Only the restaurant doesn’t have much option. But i definitely want to go back to this place

Last week, my family and I had the opportunity to spend a long weekend at Berjaya Tioman Resort. The resort have the clearest and cleanest beaches in Malaysia. The resort was the perfect setting for a relaxing getaway. The surroundings were stunning, and we enjoyed our time at the resort. In addition to the comfortable accommodations, the resort also offered a wide range of activities and facilities for guests to enjoy. We were delighted by the large pool facing the beach. We could just walk right to the beach after taking a dip in the pool. The hotel restaurant has a stunning interior as well. We were able to have a relaxing breakfast and dinner every day that we were there. The food was delicious and top-notch. The staff of guest experience executives Sheila was excellent and pleasant. She were very welcoming and accommodating. The housekeeping staff was efficient and attentive. Everyone was caring about our needs to ensure that we were enjoying our stay. On the whole, we enjoyed the hospitality at Berjaya Tioman Resort and we had a wonderful experience of staying there. Location is good, the staff is courteous, the facilities were awesome. I would definitely recommend Berjaya Tioman Resort as it is a great place for guests to relax and enjoy themselves.

Rooms need some upgrade, but they are lovely and clean. The location is awesome. You feel you are alone because it is so quiet and relaxing. Staff is awesome and helpful. Food choices could be better.

Enjoy staying at Berjaya. You can directly access to the beach and enjoy the sunset. Kids loved the games room.

The only issue is the room's wall-mounted TV can't be adjusted to face the bed, it is always tilted to the other side.

I noticed there was an airport, hoping it could have more flights (don't know if it is still in operation).

We managed to see a lot of wild dolphins!

Overall, it was a good experience. The resort had firework show every weekend, which is mesmerizing. The snorkeling trip was great, particularly with the engaging instructor.

We stayed at the Berjaya, Tioman from 3rd May to 7th June. That should speak for itself. Our stay extended from an original plan of one week, to three and then to five weeks.
We had read negative reviews and whilst some are in part valid, they don’t tell the full story and are predominantly from short stay visitors.
The hotel is recovering from a major fire and an extended COVID lockdown and there are strong signs of that recovery. We read negative reviews on various websites, but still decided to visit the island, stay at the Berjaya, as we have been visiting the island for over 30 years and were certainly not disappointed.
The location is perfect, quiet, calm and spread along an extensive beach-front which is never congested. The accommodation is charming, especially the beach chalets and is being progressively upgraded. The staff as always are the best that we have experienced anywhere, always helpful and smiling. The food was, mostly excellent, especially with a bowl of sambal on the side. Access to the rest of the island can be a long walk or you can hop on the bus that shuttles guests to and from the jetty or airport. We chose to rent a scooter for flexibility and this was inexpensive. The activities are extensive and well organised.
The wildlife comes straight to your door with monkeys, monitor lizards and cheeky birds (Mynas) being frequent visitors.
We are planning our return trip next year.
We don’t want to make a special mention of any of the staff as they were all excellent, lovely and a credit to the hotel.

Big shoutout to Sheila, for going the extra mile to look out for my aunt when she noticed she wasn't feeling well. The kind gesture of hot lemon tea warmed not only the body by the hearts of our group.

Room Service on request. You have to tell them more than twice to make up the room. But cleaning and roomservice is very good.

Hotel pickup bus automatically show up for every ferry arrival! Buggy service within the resort premise. And there is a super nice seafood restaurant just next to the resort entrance!

Beautiful resort. We stay 4 nights. Staffs are friendly, room are clean under the supervision of Selvam the resort manager who is onsite to greed us and other guests . Never seen a manager so attentive among all the clubs. Activities can all be arrange here with other falilities available.
Asian buffet breakfast and lunch is great. The Thai restaurant is great but serving potion a bit small could be improve. Great for seniors with 25% discount on buffet which could be implemented to all to get more guest to dine in. The live beachside music is entertaining.
Pools should be open till 8pm esp during this hot weather which is too early to swim.
Generally a great place
for vacation in this Island.

Had a great time with my family of 6 here in this resort for 5 nights 😅 celebrating my husband's birthday and they nicely decorated our room ❤ great resort nice beach beautiful swimming pool, its a good place to bring your family relaxing and enjoying the facilities and scenery. Bfast was good, love the nasi lemak, the sambal is da bomb. All the staffs were amazing especially Mr. Selvam who always ready to assist with anything and Miss Wahida who are very wamth and dedicated. Definately will come back again soon..

Situated near to Kampung Tekek and having a nice sandy beach. The staff are well trained and polite with the guests. The Renggis Island is just located in front of the resort.

Lovely part of the island. Resort on the beach. Lots of activities. Has a great golf course. Excellent resterant just outside the resort. Personally I like it

Just love the feeling of being there ! Waited at Jetty to fetch us, feel so VIP when welcome at the lobby by beautiful dancers and hi tea waiting for us ! At nite, entertained by Fire Shows and must mentioned Chef Lau whom specially prepare special Vegetarian Dishes for my 2 Vegetarian friends. We had great Team Bonding and enjoyed so much the games and having fun. The Hawaiian nite is an unforgettable one with yummy BBQ food !

We had a wonderful 3d2n stay at Berjaya Tioman, Room 105. Thanks Mr Selvam for the room upgrade and the complimentary dinner for two. We are returning guests and always enjoy the friendly hospitality of the staff at Berjaya Tioman.

I am happy to note that Berjaya Tioman is serious about sustainability issues with reusable glass bottles in every room and dining area as well as the use of metal straws.

There is so much potential for this resort. The renovation works still on going, hope can be done during this coming monsoon season. Staffs there are very friendly, however some might not fluent in English. So be patient especially during peak periods. Wish to specially thanks to staffs that served my family well, Adriana (receptionist cum welcome dancer, cum Fire show emcee, dancer etc, she deserve a raise!), Musa from recreation counter, friendly and informative Yoga instructor Bruce, manager from the restaurant (forget to take down his name). Nice place good location with a nice beach. Good service with nice rooms and friendly staff breakfast was excellent also the buffet in the evening. I can strongly recommend this place 👍 😀
