The Ipoh hor fun is above average but got others better than this. The octopus. bean sprouts and jellyfish is surprisingly chewy & splashing, highly recommended. The porched chicken is very smoothly and tasty but quite expensive considered quarter chicken is RM22.

Low key the best teh and cham ping and roti bakar! The kaya spread is so fragrant and best eaten right toasted off the oven.

The jellyfish cum squid is very fresh and leaves a good crunch with every bite. Rm10 per plate.

Didn't get to try the prawn mee but the kai si hor fun is good uniquely their taste.

However, given the comparison to KL pricing and some of the best kai si hor fun I have eaten, this restaurant charges quite premium (RM10 per bowl with 3 fish balls) for only few chunks of chicken and prawn meat.

Definitely will patron again for the prawn mee, drinks and the toast bread.

The toast and half boiled eggs set are great. Highly recommended to try the toast. It's very special. Thin slice and very crispy. The Ipoh kai si hor fun(chicken noodle) is also very nice. Must try. Just order the normal one which costs RM7.00 per bowl. Add on will cost you RM12 (just 2 fish balls and some chicken meat) which i found it unreasonable. The white coffee is good. The place is always packed.

One of the must try if you're hunting for a bowl of scrumptious chicken floss noodles in Ipoh. The broth is flavourful with the fragrance of prawn and while it's sweet it's the kind of sweet associated with sugar. Portion could've been bigger tho. This is a restaurant where locals will visit due to it not being too 'touristic' yet the food is good by Ipoh's standard. The fried noodle is so so but the wanton mee is surprisingly good. Last but not least one cannot leave without trying a cup of coffee and it certainly didn't disappoint.

Superb kaya butter toast. Chicken hor fun is delicious (but the soup base is kinda sweet), chicken is smoooth. Fried noodles stall also quite good. Very crowded on Sun, about 15-30 min wait.

I’m super surprised with how delicious their toast is! Crispy toast coupled with the melted butter, absolutely yummy! So much better than other more popular places for toast among tourists! My husband and I love it so much that we came back again the next day! Be sure to drop by before 1.30pm though as uncle knocks off on the dot 😂 My parents love their shredded chicken hor fun. I found the claypot noodle not too bad too. But the toast is definitely my favourite! I prefer kaya and butter toast but my dad loves the toast with just the butter. Definitely a must visit place for me when I come back Ipoh again.

This is for the locals. Simple food for breakfast. These are the main food here: Claypot Noodle, Fried Noodles, Prawn Noodles, Shreded Chicken Noodle and bean sprouts as well as jellyfish and octopus. All are nice. Its a breakfast/lunch place. Expect good food and not some fancy tourist attraction decor. Come early to avoid crowd.

All the stalls had moved from Jen Jen including the very tasty Ipoh Shredded Chicken Horfun. Things to try are the prawn noodles, remember to ask for pork ribs! Also the char kway teow is very nice and smoky with the "breath of the wok", cockles are freshly de-shelled in the morning before starting for the day. The yee-mee in a pot is also tasty, as is the toast bread and coffee. Generally a very good place for breakfast, full of local Ipoh people!

1) Chicken Noodle soup, this stall My favourite.Taste just nice.frequent patron.

2) Claypot noodle, is nice also. lots of "ingredients", with mushrooms, vege, eggs, mince porky balls

3) Wanton Noodle,
acceptable taste.

4) Har mien, Prawn noodle. it seems slightly drop the standard.. .

5) Fried noodle stall.
try at own risk. see the luck .. got sometimes is nice. some other times, when i order got overly "burnt" taste.yuckss... and literraly dumb the whole thing away.
(i wont order then.haha)

6) Coffee is inconsistent.
sometimes nice,sometimes not.

7) Toast breas is a must try.
very crispy, and yummie. either you order, peanut butter, or butter kaya, or just hutter alone(if dont want sugar).can request real butter , (and reject marjerin). if place too long, it will go uncrispy ya...

Environment, if peak hours.then gotta wait for tables. and the tables quite near to each other (slight noisy) so best is to visit at Non Peak hours.
as usual, busy area parking is challenging at times. but still alright, whenever i go also got parking depending if you willing to walk far or near. try dont double park ya... ;)
