Definitely worth to visit. You can rent a bicycle or scooter to move around the park. But I would recommend walking as some of the path is pedestrian only. (lake bridge)

Came here after 7am breakfast. Lovely park with cool breeze (actually very cold) and serene environment. There are benches to sit. However be careful of ants that may bite if they land on you, don't stay under the tree for too long. Very nice place to breathe some fresh air especially after a nice breakfast.

We love this place so much. The best recreational park in Ipoh city. There's a spacious cycling area with many types of bicycles available for rental - from kids size, adults and family (trishaw). There's also a few playgrounds around the park, a football field, Japanese garden and a lake. We can rent the boats at the lake with affordable fees or simply do fish feeding activity with kids. Many people will come here for a photoshoot session, surprise birthday celebration or even do team building activities. Nice place! Not many stalls like in padang polo but there are people selling ice cream and drinks.

Peaceful and tranquil. Oldest park in Ipoh with many rainforest trees and Kinta river nearby. There are children playground, bicycle for rent, e scooter and skateboard ground. There is also a Japanese Park inside that is well maintained. Worth a visit as entrance is free and plenty of car park. Only downside is it is not wheelchair friendly as no special path for it

A place that's Green and Peace in the middle of the City. Even the school outdoor activities can be done here.

The park is clean, most of the facilities can function well, suitable for family time during evening and weekend.

You can rent a bike from RM 5 (for a single seat bike) to RM 40 (for a family bike). The staff is polite and concerned about kids safety who will recommend a suitable bike for kids and family.

Nice place. Got bike to rent for kids and adult. Toilet got shower. Kids can bath after playing.

Actually we are at the area where restaurants and cafe are. Taman DR are a big area. There are children playground, jogging lanes and a lot more. Its where most people lepaks during weekend with family n friends. There even have hotel nearby - Riverfront hotel. We have enjoyable time that night. Thumbs up👍👍👍😊

A hidden gem in Perak. This park already operated for many years and still one of the best place to hang out. The best part of this park is Japanese Mini Garden. Beautiful and really makes me feel like in Japan. There are also lake, playground for kids, jogging track and you can rent bicycle too.

Another hidden gem of Ipoh city (sort of). most of the areas are plants and trees, some are well-maintained. I even found a skateboarding area surrounded by trees! and one of the main attraction in this park is another park inside the park itself (lol). "Taman Jepun" or Japanese themed Park, is a small park totally surrounded by wall and can be entered through main gate only. It's good for relaxing and photography. I only managed to spent about 1 hour and unfortunately I'm unable to explore all of the area. You can find food court on the other side of the area. and you can rent tandem bicycle. Now all being said, do I need to remind this is public recreational park. which comes with the downside of litters such as beer bottles and plastics. irresponsible people and couples are polluting this green place. Please, to anyone who visits here, do not litter.

Big park u can plan for birthday celebration, gathering etc. good place for spending time with family. Kids will love to see a lot of fish in the pond. Go there when it’s not that hot.

Not a very big park but it is a nice park for jogging, cycling or short walk with kids, family and friends. The fishes in the pond are all so huge especially the koi fish. Many big trees too, look very greenery, nice for photoshooting. Ample of parking space.

It's a good place to jog and exercise. But it will get more people on later Sunday morning. So it's more enjoyable if you come earlier.

A very wonderful park to exercise with nice old trees and children's playground. Located next to the Kinta River and the Kinta Riverfront Hotel There and Suites. There are fish ponds.

Beautiful river sidewalk view. Have a restaurant with a variety of food to choose. Also got fun ride for kids and adults to explore both side of river. Good place to spend time with family and relax.
