Amazing place, before entering the lake, we entered a Miner's tunnel first, which will connect you from entrance to the lake.

There's even a boat jetty ride for tourist. It's a 20min ride, each boat have a driver guiding us, a friendly driver shared to us the background and history behind this mirror lake, she even helped all of us take lots of photos and videos for free!

Overall it was such an amazing experience and a memorable one.

Awesome places, great experiences, greenery surrounding, historical cave, beautiful scenic views, helpful crews, public toilets 🚻 nearby, easy access, clear 🪧 , free parking 🅿 places, nature air breathable, locker space available, no bag 💼 , no water 💧, no others large items, only mobile phone 📱 can bring it together. 👍🏻❤🌈

Greatly exceeded our expectations. Two “hidden” lakes approached via old mining tunnels. Morning is best, when the glassy water mirrors the dramatic jungle cliffs. Be sure to take the twenty minute inflatable raft ride with guide to get away from the crowds. The large lake is best, but both are well worth doing.

A most wonderful experience if you're the type to admire nature and the geo-historical aspects of the limestone formations. Found in 2021, opened for visitors in 2022, the Tasik Cermin / Mirror Lake has been steadily gaining popularity eversince they opened up for the world to see.

Mirror Lake 1 and Mirror Lake 2 are separate, both charging a whopping RM 25 per adult for a 20mins boat ride.

If you do not fancy the boat ride, then you can pay for the Miner's Tunnel visit (RM 4 per Malaysian / RM 10 per foreigner) at Mirror Lake 1.
For those who'd want to take a boat ride at Mirror Lake 1, you must pay 2 separate fees : the Miner's Tunnel visit + Boat ride, simply because you MUST pass through the tunnel to get to the boat ride.
Honestly, I do not agree with the discriminating charges for both Malaysians and Foreigners. But I do understand that they need to charge a fee for the team's conservation efforts.

The boats do not use diesel/fuel motors, but are battery operated. Quieter, discreet and makes for a very pleasant ride, with zero pollution to the environment.

We paid for both Mirror Lake 1 (Miner's Tunnel +boat ride) & Lake 2 (boat ride only) to see what the fuss is all about. A hard burn to our wallets but the experiences for both are excellent in their own way. We had fantastic (different) guides for both rides, with lots of insights shared, stories exchanged, history unveiled on the mining heydays & the geographical makeup of the limestones, plus conservation efforts taken to maintain both lakes and its surrounding hills.

All ticket charges may seem rather exorbitant, but for the research team to maintain and protect the area, I'd say it's a worthy investment. Do give this place a visit, and give yourself a chance to admire a small bit of nature hidden away in this lovely little town.

Roads are half paved/half gravel, private vehicles to big tour buses are allowed in, with limited parking spaces. Parking spaces are barren with no trees or roofs, it can get real burning hot when it's high noon.

Toilets are relatively clean & free. Local cafes are sprouting up almost everywhere, offering visitors relieve and food. Other small attractions include the Kin Loong Valley (walking distance), the Snake Mouth Cave and a flight of coloured stairs for photo relief.

Despite ticket prices, Mirror Lake 1 & 2 are garnering huge crowds for its amazing limestone & lake properties, especially with visitors from Hong Kong, Taiwan, China and even Japanese. Weekends and public holidays are especially super crowded. Plan your trip well.

Beautiful place. Do note that there is now an entrance fee, which wasn't there a few years ago. It's still beautiful but a bit populated now, especially on weekends.

Great place to start for your Ipoh roadtrip. I recommend coming here early in the morning. Around 8.30am is best to get the mirror effect on the lake. There is a boat ride available but even coming here for the view on the platform is good enough. Entrance fee was RM4 for Malaysians which is very reasonable. Overall, a great experience and worth the 2-hour drive from KL

New experience to walk through the tunnel to the port. Entrance ticket rm4 per person with Malaysia ic shown, quite some foreigners as compared to other attractions in Ipoh. Boat ride 20 minutes rm25 per adult, a bit pricey for general Ipohites.

Was a pretty cool experience. There are actually 2 mirror lakes, the upper one you are able to walk to through an old mine shaft, is slightly larger and has a platform that you can stand on. The second requires a ticket for a boat ride through another mine shaft, once through the tunnel you circle the lake on an inflatable boat. There are a few cafes and another cave you can walk through. Worth the trip from ipoh in my opinion. Only took about 2 hours to do everything

Nice place to visit. Get there early to avoid the crowds, especially on the weekend. There are a couple of cafes that have WiFi so you can get a Grab Taxi after visiting.

Just on impulse decision decide to come here after breakfast at bus terminal ipoh. Nice view and it’s really calmed but maybe because it a weekend so there so many people so the place kinda pack. The dock area look like big space from pictures online but it’s not. So you need to come here and see it for yourself. Their have boat ride, didn’t try the boat ride but it look nice. Gonna try the boat ride if come next time.

Beautiful, serene place. Recommend to stop by if you come to Ipoh to enjoy man-made nature and enjoy coffee by the cave after walking under the hot Sun. Do take the boat ride at the Mirror Lake 2 - Hidden World. Gives a little Jumanji experience.

Great view! If you have the time, take the boat ride to enjoy the view away from the crowd. There are 2 lakes here Tasik Cermin 1 & 2. We only visited 1. 2 is about a 150m way from 1.

A good scenic place. Can be a little crowded. Boat ride was 25 and 18 per adults and kids. Access to mirror Lake was 8 per adult and 4 per kids (Foreigners), experience was worth the money.

It was a journey of foursome to celebrate my twin's birthday. Must say, the entrance to lake is awesome and so is the beautiful scenario at the lake...the reflection of the hill that mirrors on the water is remarkable...bit more so, its a good place to get some shots with nature backgrounds....Totally breathtaking...

Aus was a great boat driver and spoke excellent English! We really enjoyed the 20 minute boat ride on an electric boat, and learnt all about the history of mirror lake. Aus took our photos and was the star of the show. We would recommend taking a boat tour when you visit.

Do hop on a boat ride in Tasik Cermin 2, cool breeze, calm lake. Recommended for couples and families.

Lake 1 was already a beauty, and then we discovered lake 2 through the newly opened "hidden tunnel" boat ride. 11 species of fish live in the water, once a 6ft once also found. The water in the tunnel is 7 ft deep, and the lake is about 35 ft deep.

Don't miss the hidden chamber inside Snake Cave
