Plan B Restaurant | Ipoh

Food here was pretty good, and the ambience is great. The only problem (with the area, not so much the restaurant) is the constant lack of parking.

We ordered only pastas. All tasted good and the portions were pretty filling. Coffee was also quite thick.

nice view and atmosphere. Not too cheap but portion is okay, can share for small eater. Using QR code to order but I see some people were offered hard copy menu so I wonder on the criteria. For family with small kids like us, it would be great to have it offered

Salmon Miso Pesto was nice, refreshing and not heavy. The seafood bistro was a bit salty, but well served with toast. Besides, Hail Caesar (salad) will be the best choice after the main course. The aroma of coffee blends into the spacious dining environment made my day. Worth trying.

Quite pricey but the portion is big. Service and atmosphere are nice. The carbonara was very creamy

Nice place. Surrounded by aesthetically pleasing old building and decor. Beautiful restaurant, friendly and super helpful staffs, delicious food. Couldn’t ask for more.

Enjoyed the food and atmosphere there. Really like their new drink Taro Latte. Very good service as well!

Love the afternoon Tea for two.
The combination of snacks and cakes were so delicious .
Tried the mushroom pasta. Tasted so yummy , Perfect with sauce topped with lots of finely shredded garlic slides.
Definitely a great place for western and fusion food in town .👍

Ambience is really nice here. Food is all tasty but the Sarawak Laksa misses the mark for me. Kaya lamington cake tastes great and the Ang Mo Indomie (basically spaghetti carbonara) also tastes good. I would come here again if I visit Ipoh since Concubine Lane is also around the corner

Excellent Nasi Lemak and breakfast plate! Just fantastic teh ais and teh tarik.

Plan B for most visitors is a small complex where they can explore and marvel at the interiors that bring them back to a past era. A western style restaurant, an art store of water colour paintings, an old fashion mini barber shop, stores selling souvenirs and artifacts, ... Wait, faunas creeping on walls, more than a few creative photo taking spots, a book shop with a basement of unused bank vaults, etc. Quite hard to define the boundaries of Plan B. Tourists, don't skip this memorable place.

Halal eatery, serve wine, but no pork.

Very great place for western foods. Not only the place are neat decorated but beautiful design and nice concept too. This place is very very very good to chill with the friends or with the beloved ones. The foods were so great. I'm amazed. I love all the foods that we ordered. Very satisfying. The chef did a great job. The price quiet pricey but worth it. Definitely will come again with my family.

I love their spaghetti really up to my tastebud. Also love the scones. Staff also nice and food served within 15mins.

Pros
- large menu western style
- can tell the chef is well trained. Our food looks appetizing and tasted amazing.
- nice ambience. Excellent interior deco. Went there to celebrate daughters' birthday.
- After lunch we had great photoshoot around the restaurant too. Get to walk off some calories to Concubine Lane just next door.

Cons
- had to park a bit further. Be early as 11am otherwise u have no parking space!
- pricey. Agak mahal for orang Ipoh but for KL food lover and sekali sekala special occasion IS JUSTIFIED BY THE DELICIOUSNESS AND PRESENTATION.

The place was so aesthetic and ambient. Friendly staff and also easy to order since everything was done online. But the toilet is a bit uncomfortable for me. It's place in the kitchen and poor facilities. Overall worth to visit🫶

Love the environment. Nice concept and decoration. Very comfy to enjoy our meals. Also, the place is clean. The service is just average. Got so many choices in the menu. The price is a bit expensive but very reasonable. The foods are delicious and yummy. All the foods that we ordered are delicious. Love the carbonara. This is now one of my fav place in Ipoh. Really recommended

Impressive taste at Plan B Ipoh, though the menu's not extensive. Unfortunately, my carrot cake was forgotten, a hiccup in an otherwise excellent experience. The open space ambiance added to the charm. Worth a visit for flavorful dishes and a relaxed atmosphere.

The godfather burger 🍔 had a lovely taste.
Spaghetti carbonara can be improved the taste at least at par with Bens KLCC.
aglio maybe need to add few strips of beef or pepperoni or seafood stuff just plain aglio we received.
crews are awesome,helpful & polite.
