A must see in Kuala Lumpur 🌴☀❤
We went there for a longer walk and it was not long enough. The beauty of nature is mesmerizing. And the playground for children - a daydream! Never seen such an amazing and huge park playground before!
We can't wait to be back there 🥰

The whole park was clean. Morning dews in the morning makes you feel so refreshed. You can come here for picnics if you don't feel like jogging. There's also a huge playground where you can bring your little ones here for a good bonding session. This park brings back so many childhood memories! ❤

Nice lovely park in the middle of the city for a morning stroll.

If you look hard enough, you may spot some beavers. I do wonder what happened to the ducks.

Plenty of greens, simply refreshing to be away from the city which is next door.

Easy parking, both paid and free.

This massive garden is a little challenging to get to. However, the effort is worth it.

The grounds unfold in a way that feels predictable, yet every corner you turn you just happen across one more beautiful thing. You must walk through and explore, as these large feature pieces are adequately hidden in a way that makes them impossible to see if you don't keep moving your feet.

There is a lot packed into the park. However, it doesn't feel at all overwhelming. I left the park after a 2 hour hike, and I will be back, as I am certain I didn't see it all, and the wide open spaces make you somewhat forget that you're in the middle of a large city.

What surprised me the most was the sheer lack of people when I first entered. Then I realised after a little while, it's quite full of people, the park is just so large it feels like you're all by yourself much of the time. It creates a serene and peaceful feel.

My excursion to the Perdana Botanical Garden in Malaysia was a journey of inspiration and natural wonder. Located in the heart of Kuala Lumpur, this botanical paradise is a testament to the beauty of Malaysia's biodiversity.

As I strolled through the lush gardens, I was captivated by the rich tapestry of flora. Towering trees, vibrant orchids, and exotic ferns created a symphony of colors and fragrances. The garden's meticulously landscaped paths led me to tranquil lakes, where swans gracefully glided on the water.

But what truly inspired me was the garden's dedication to conservation and education. The eco-friendly initiatives and informative exhibits highlighted Malaysia's commitment to preserving its natural heritage.

Perdana Botanical Garden is not just a place of serene beauty; it's a testament to the importance of environmental stewardship. This visit reminded me of our responsibility to protect and cherish the planet's treasures.

Great place just to relax or for walking/jogging. The main park has a large lake, with trails around it and the trails extend up the gentle hills and all over the park. There is a small 'botanical section' near the lake. The deer park is free, but some of the deer are in poor condition. There is an ornamental garden popular with Chinese for taking wedding photos.

Overall a good place for a leisurely walk. You can explore Malaysia's naturally grown rainforest and fauna/flora but walking on a paved road. The orchid garden very next to this is beautiful!

Perdana Botanical Gardens, formerly Perdana Lake Gardens, Lake Gardens and Public Gardens, is Kuala Lumpur's first large-scale recreational park.
With a size of 91.6 hectares, it is located in the heart of the city and was founded in 1888.
The park served as a refuge from the hustle and bustle of the city in colonial times.
A must see, when you are in Kuala Lumpur!

A great place to just have a stroll, everything was well maintained. It’s pretty clean as well.

One of the best parks I visited, recommend to have a walk if you get the chance.

Nice place to do a picnic. Place is well kept and clean. There is also a children playground and a cafe.

Try to go in early morning or evening. It can get very hot during noon.

There is a short cut from Muzium Negara mrt (exit B). From there is about 5 mins walk to the botanical garden.

As always, it is a nice place for parents and kids alike.
The renovated orchid garden has just been reopened and looks fantastic. Hope they will look after it better as the previous one was closed for a long time.

Sprawling public park with lush greeneries and a beautiful lake with fountains. Happy childhood memories strolling in this park (known as Lake Gardens then) with my family years ago in the late 70s. The municipal council has since spruced up the park area and maintained it well. Good for exercise, a stroll or just taking in the greeneries.

An extravagant and beautiful, well-maintained park to spend your evenings. Buggy rides are available for tourists. Immersive experience.

If you’re visiting Kuala Lumpur and have 2-3 hours to spend “in nature”, then the Botanical Garden is a good place to go. Huge tropical trees, waterfalls, streams, narrow walkways through the park and plenty of places to sit, rest and picnic.

As the Botanical Garden is close to the Bird Park, you can combine both in a single visit to the area.

Come on a weekdays where there are very few people around.

As a Malaysian, this is one of the best parks in the city. The park features various themes and styles, making it suitable for different types of photo shoots. Additionally, it’s a great place for casual jogging. If you have kids, they will love the park’s playground. I highly recommend visiting if you live nearby and want to experience nature

Peaceful to walk around here after being in the busy centre of KL. Lots of beautiful trees and a nice large lake in the middle. Entrance to the botanical garden itself is free (you have to pay for the bird park/deer park).

From here you can go straight to the national museum of Malaysia as well.

We went on a Sunday at around 8:30am. Advise to park at the Cascade Parking (where Restaurant Rebung is located) to avoid congestion when going back. Plenty of parking at the basement. The park itself is huge, there's shaded area to jog if you want to avoid the sun. There's open spaces to exercise, to do zumba etc. We notice there's at least 2 playground area for kids. There's also deer park & bird park at the area.

KID'S PLAYGROUND

This place have 2 playgrounds, one closer to the lake and one more a bit distance to the right.

The one closer to the lake, suitable for 4-12 years old and the distance one 2-6 years old.

Parking will be troublesome on weekends. Weekdays should be no problem.

The playgrounds is free of charge, so the parking!
