The moment you approach KL Tower, its imposing stature is awe-inspiring. As one of the world's tallest towers, it commands an unrivaled view of the sprawling cityscape below. The journey to the observation deck is a swift ascent, courtesy of the high-speed elevators, which is an experience in itself.

For the more adventurous souls, the Sky Deck, which is higher than the regular observation deck, offers an even more thrilling experience. The glass-bottomed Sky Box extends out from the Sky Deck, allowing visitors to stand over a transparent floor high above the city – a memorable photo opportunity for anyone wishing to capture a unique memento of their visit. KL Tower is not just an architectural marvel but also a testament to Malaysia's cultural and technological advancements. It offers a unique combination of stunning views, cultural experiences, and entertainment options. Whether you're dining at the revolving restaurant or simply taking in the sights from the observation decks, a visit to KL Tower is a must when in Kuala Lumpur. It's an experience that leaves you with a profound appreciation of the city's beauty and ambition.

It all depends on weather. If you have a clear sky you will get an amazing view. There are three things that you can do at KL Manara:-
1) Sky Deck - Open place on top of the Tower(110 RM)
2) Sky Box - A glass box on top of the tower at sky deck, has a waiting and many people are waiting, so only buy ticket if you have time.
3) Sky walk - I personally didn’t like the Sky walk because it was very close to the ground. It would be more adventurous if it had more height to it.

KL tower is definitely a building you should see if you go to Kuala Lumpur. By the way, I'm not just talking about seeing from outside from afar. You should definitely go up. When I went out, only the observation deck was open. There was a storm coming towards the city at that time, so the top floor was closed for security purposes. But it was a really nice experience to watch the clouds slowly swallowing the city from that height and observe the lightning. You can also plan your trips more easily after seeing the entire city from above in detail. If you like walking around the city, of course.

One of the best view point of downtown KL.

The tower is located up in the hill. So if u use public transport, beware of a long climb walk. Its is recomended to come here by car and dropped off at the lobby.
The concourse is very full of people even not in holiday season. It is better to order ticket in advanced. Facilities and services are quite good. There are photo booth but not with direct view of the downtown but in a green screen so you can choose any background available.
The deck itself is great. Amazing 360 view. Glasses and railings are clean. There are some binoculars and seating available. There's a nice information also about the tower.

Highly recomended to visit.

As many people say it is a must in Kuala Lumpur. You get great views of the city from above. It is one of the highest towers in the world. Inside there are some shops, picture opportunities (as usually). The tower is in a walking distance from major hotels, but beware that it is up the hill. Not an easiest walk in a heat.

Great views but I went on a very cloudy rainy day. It was, however, fascinating to see how quickly the clouds moved. Obscuring views one minute, then clear the next. Don't forget. The buildings may not be in cloud, but the tower may be so views will be compromised. On a clear day this view would be spectacular

Nice tower to visit and to see town from high. Recommend to buy tickets online will be cheaper and you can get offer to visit K.L aquarium aswell. I paid for both 98RM.

The same recommendation is to come in the morning, as queues will be small and you'll be able to do it quickly and enjoy time up without too many people around you.

Unfortunately, it started raining, so I couldn't do Sky Box, but they will give you new tickets, and you can come back once the weather is improved. I got 7 days to come back to use my sky box tickets.

It's was a great experience to see a city from top of the KL tower.
Their are certain categories of tickets available for KL tower. One should select it properly.

I believe one should visit in the evening hours when the sun is about to set.

Sky box is a must. But you should have the patience to wait for it. During the rush hours. Waiting will be more.
As in non rush hours, we have to wait for half an hour. Only you get 4 to 5 mins. They have 2 sky box. One with Petronas view and other one is a city view.
And both the boxes are allowed. It's just how you utilize it most. Just by creating a memory or living the moment. As it has an amazing experience.
Observatory is a floor that has shops and restrooms. And binoculars to view the city.

They also have some rooftop restaurants. But I didn't go there. While traveling in a lift, one of the family members was visiting it. In Malaysia, KL tower is a must to visit

Menera Kuala Lumpur or KL Tower is an amazing attraction that you shouldn't miss. There are various ways to explore this attraction I decided to use Sky deck and Sky box. Sky deck is a 360 open deck and provides you opportunity to explore KL city in all directions this also introduced me to the 2nd highest building in the world after Burj ! Merdeka, 118 floors and close to 680 meters tall ...( Burj I think is 800+)...visible in picture with blue building.

Sky box can only accommodate three people at a time and hence expect a queue as you arrive and may have to wait upto 45 minutes but I didn't really feel it since you could continue to explore on Sky deck as place in the queue is reserved ( you would be given a slip).

Sky box is a transparent box and as soon as you step on it you get a feeling as if you are walking in the clouds ...you may sit on the floor and admire the beauty, click picks if you like

Enjoy your time on Sky deck.

Great 369° viewpoint of the city, building is impressive as it is really thin. I really recommend the sky deck because it is outside (feels like a breezy balcony). Also you can test your fear of heights by stepping on the sky box. It is on timer (45 seconds) so if you go early / quiet time you might have more time to take your pictures. Great view over the Petronas tower and the Merdeka 118, which is currently the second highest building in the world ! Must do while in Kuala Lumpur !

Beautiful view of Kuala Lumpur from the Observation deck. If you have plan for Skybox Pictures then you should check wheather conditions before going. Before raining its closed and your ticket is non refundable. If you have Visa card then you can get 20% OFF.
