Great Ipoh hor fun. The hor fun itself is incredibly smooth and the soup is flavorsome. Chicken is nice without any unpleasant odor. Not only that, bean sprout is a must-have item. It's big in size and the sauce with sesame oil tastes super delicious. To mention, cutlery is self service.

We had lunch on weekend and enjoyed our meal. Food was served very quickly although is Sunday. The rice, noodles, steamed chicken were delicious lean meat and the juicy fat bean sprouts were especially tasty. The restaurant is air-conditioned cooling and clean. Surprisingly quite big portion for the reasonable cheap price. Highly recommend must try when in Ipoh for dining with friends & family.

The shop's noise acoustics is very bad. When it's noisy, the noise is deafening. We practically had to shout to talk to each other. Had problems having a normal conversation while having our meal.

The food was delicious.

Very smooth village chicken. Typically good beansprouts. Fishball is fresh. Meatball is tasty as it contains cuttlefish . Service is exceptional. Very quick. Only the chilli sauce is inclined to sweetness ,which I prefer a more sour type since its chicken rice

Flavorful broth and silky smooth noodles, to me it's a total comfort food.
Steamed chicken, pork balls and tauge are fresh and tasty too.

a local recommend this place
chicken is great!
fish ball mix pork ball soup is another gem.

pic 1 is the whole thing you should try, but it’s a little too much for a single person.

Very nice chicken. Soup was pleasant. The queue was rather long.

The chicken and Tauge were great.

It was the first fatty, juicy and crunchy taugeh I've had. I don't usually fancy taugeh, but this one convinced me, and may have even become the star of your meal experience. The pleasant white pepper powder on both the taugeh and chicken were enlightening.

Chicken has a very good chewwy texture to it. Definitely good for people who don't fancy the soft chicken meats.

Service is lacking as the shop is very full and the staff are too busy. Only the lady boss takes orders based on what I've observed, while the rest ignores you.

Not sure why I cannot find or select the Onn Kee Beside Lou Wong. Are they the same?

Chicken was tasty but the bean sprout was so good! I had 2 servings of the bean sprout.

This is my usual go to chicken rice shop in Ipoh. Very good juicy and tender chicken, the tauge is very crunchy texture and sweet, I also like the chicken feet which is very full of meat and the spice is really good. This place also has my favourite hor fun , very very good texture. The meat ball here is very good as well. Must try, 100% recommended!

One of my favorites stops everytime I come to Ipoh.

Poached chicken with flavoured soy sauce. Smooth, tender, juicy chicken meat.

Chicken rice. No just ordinary white rice but packed with flavour & fragrance.

Bean sprouts. Blanch and dressed with soy sauce. Extremely crunchy.

Kuey Teow soup: Light reddish soup with thin and smooth Kuey Teow.

Pork meat ball: Not frozen meat balls. Tender pork meat ball with a hint of dry squid.

I’ve came to know about this shop long ago and just have a chance back again after so many years. Their chicken is still as smooth as I 1st had. Their bean sprouts still very tasty and juicy. I love the taste of their homemade soy sauce on the bean sprouts and chicken. The ‘hor fun’ are still silky smooth as before.

Ample space right in front of the restaurant just take some time to wait patiently u will have ur parking space in no time. There are many local souvenirs selling beside this restaurant if you plan to get some. Do try the curry chicken bun selling from the shop in front of this restaurant of RM42 each which could cater up to 5 persons shares.

That day went to lou wong. But queue like hell, so decided to cross the road come to Ong Kee. Menu is the same as lou wong. And surprisingly, it also taste the same. No need to queue like hell. Reach Ong Kee straight can sit down. Big table some more. Hell. Next time I just come here.

It’s not the chicken rice that made them famous. It’s the fat bean sprout, silky smooth hor fun and tasty soya sauce due to their river water being used in the process of production.

This place is my all time favourite as an Ipoh-ian. It's a family run business that stood the test of time. The taste and quality of chicken, soups, sprouts and noodles are consistent. Not to mention the affordable price as usual. Some might compare Ong's and Wong's of which is better, but if you ask for authenticity, my preference will always be Ong. Though at busy hours, be aware of the cutest auntie's attitude =)

We only come to this restaurant every time we visit our IL which are local. Well, they told us this is the best chicken rice in town. Indeed!

As always, this place is jammed packed. Ordered 1/2 chicken with the new Chicken Price after 1st June 2022. However missing was the Chicken Wings and Drumstick … I wonder which table has it went to …

The chicken is very tasty, and don't miss their famous dry ho fan and curry chicken. So far I went to a lot of chicken rice shops, this is the best place I ever have experienced.
TIPS: Prefer 5pm for dinner to avoid crowded and limited parking.

Food was delicious. The stall lives up to it's name. Definitely must try the chicken, hor fun, curry hor fun and the beansprouts. Unlike any I've ever had, these were thick and crunchy with a subtle sweetness to it

Very fragrant chicken rice, juicy tender chicken cooked just right, taugeh was good, fish and pork balls not bad, hor fun quite nice too (but the chicken rice was way better). Quite hot if sitting outside but probably worth the wait for the good food. They have an indoor section if you're lucky. Also noted another airconditioned restaurant with the same name across the street but the queue is even longer there.
