Will always come back here for the future visits to Kedah, Alor Setar cause it's such a memorable for me personally...

Our stay here was good; the room was large, clean and comfortable. Only downside was lack of fridge but there was a cold water dispenser in the corridor so not a major issue. The aircon was efficient and there was good storage for clothes etc. The location was perfect for walking to restaurants, the shopping mall and local attractions. Staff were friendly and helpful.

I'm quite familiar with this hotel bc I've stayed here long time ago when I was a kid haha. Me and my family really enjoyed our stay here last week during school holidays. The receptionist was friendly, the room for 3 of us quite spacious ! All switches, the air conditioner and the shower heater were well-functioned. The beds were comfortable too ! Only the tv channels were limited and some had no sound. Besides, other items were well-prepared such as mineral drinks, body soap and tissues. I know these things are basic but I've been to various hotels and not all of them really prepared those for us. There were water filter and iron available outside the room. The most important matter is the toilet and the shower were NEAT AND CLEAN ! It was spacious too ! Parking also available but limited. There are a few restaurants nearby. HOWEVER, the room I stayed was not really secure bc the windows' lock were broken. I really wish they fix that for customer's safety. Overall, this is a perfect hotel for families and the price is affordable too !

This hotel room don t have carpet due hygiene purpose because they don't want the room the be smelly i think. Toilet very big so the room size. 1 think i don't like, need to check in by 3.30pm.

Rooms are huge, AC , hot shower and TV works with a swimming pool to boot. Perfect for travellers like us who prefer basic accomodation. For the price is so worth it.
If there's one drawback, the block I stayed has no elevators , just stairs.

We are staying at the old block hotel.
There's no lift which was already well informed by the staffs when we made the reservation.
Room is huge, so spacious. Imagine a double person room can easily fit in probably 5 more people in here. There is a swimming pool which hotel guests are entitled to use for free. The floor and bathroom are almost spotless. Although most furnitures here are old, but they are still practical and functional.
There are a few facilities to aid the disabled people. Very thoughtful.
For the price and facilities provided, I give them 5 stars.

Swiming pool was good.
Only the washing pool guy care taker was
Washing put Clorox while we when there and my 5old kids step on the Clorox n straight when in the pool feels like no good for the water n body.
The cashier was unpleasant.

We stayed at the new wing rooms. Clean rooms and comfy beds. Helpful staff. My kids enjoyed the pool. Keep up the good work!

Spacious, clean and cozy room. They have private carpark, free WiFi, water boiler, clothes hanger, soap and shampoo. Water heater and air conditioner are good in function. The only thing is they don't have water dispenser, but inside the room have mineral water. Overall this is a very nice hotel to stay, for sure I will choose it again when i visit Alor Setar next time. By the way, view from hotel room is just stunning, you can get the landmark of Alor Setar - Alor Setar tower right in front of you.

An excellent hotel with a lot of facilities. The downside is they dont provide breakfast option. The pros is
1. Large Room and ensuite bathroom
2. Large, clean and lively swimming pool.
3. In house Conveniance store.
4. Designated covered car parks for hotel guest.
5. Near to General Practitioner and restaurants.

3days 2nights I just paid RM213 for double bed, spacious room, extra comfy pillow and a view of Alor Setar Tower. The aircond works well and lots of TV channels available. They have 24hrs convenience store. Desk can be turned into an iron boars albeit no iron coat on it so had to bring my own kain pelikat. The wifi works well all day all night. Keep up these facilities, please. NOW, in my second stay on 21-24 April, they charged me a bit higher due to internet glitch. They were persistent to charge it higher so I had to yield coz the wifi and tv channels are excellent for me. However, they were complied to give me extra pillow and towel at no cost. Anyway, I got the same new block room 216 (previously 215). The toilet piping system was bad I had to wait almost 2 minute to let the shower water residuals to subside. On my 11th June stay, I opted for old room. Lower price but SAME SERVICE AND QUALITY ALTHOUGH THE WIFI IS A BIT WEAK. On the 16th to 18th stay, the wifi connection is still BAD even after inserting the password voucher. Perhaps high volume guests. Nevertheless, Hotel ASRC is still my number one hotel to stay.

Very reasonable price,close to shopping mall and got variants of facility

The first time I stayed here .... I loved staying at this hotel, spacious room, very comfortable, clean, reasonably priced, friendly staff and most liked the big pool and very clean ... the kids in the berries relaxed clothes on swimming in the pool, there are officers who monitor there .... I would like to come to stay again here if to Alor Star.... highly recomanded 👍

Wow.. Seriously satisfied and happy with the very cheap price paid for 3 days 2 nights through Agoda (only RM121.95).. And got this big room, big bathroom, and a swimming pool.. Nice view from the window (2nd floor - using stairs only).. Plus.. There is badminton court, squash, tabble tennis.. Aerobic, yoga as well as dancing class also offered.. Glad to stay here.. Will come again for sure..

Affordable price with clean swimming pool. Great room decor. Within walking distance to restaurabts. Shopping mall and food court are nearby too
