TGV @ 1 Utama

Watched Aquaman on the weekends in IMAX. It was an awesome experience! TGV OneUtama nail it with big waiting space and lots of seats for guest. They have staff waiting at counters and it was an easy process to buy popcorns. On the top level, they also have many waiting seats and sofa for chit chats. Just love the calm and relaxing environment. IMAX seats are so comfirtable, its like business class with much leg space. Love it!

Tried the bean bag chair room. Good for a first time experience but won't really say do it all the time. Your head will feel cradled and u want to fall asleep. Also there is a gap in front watch out your stuff and slippers might fall in if you are not aware but you can dig it up again.

The IMAX for my personal perspective it's WORTH IT! I bought a ticket to Oppenheimer RM35 for a single seat and it's fantastic. I should bought the H row seats (which is In front of me) for better experience cause you might get distracted by someone's head while you are reading the subtitles. Sure, it is annoys me. It also use Imax digital so, you rate itlah.

This cineplex is probably one of the best in Malaysia, save for the ones in Pavilion and Mid Valley. You get such a wide variety of pampering (at a price) that makes movie going and experience.

TGV in 1Utama has been around for many years now, but it's transformed and catered to the ever more demanding needs of the cinema goers. You could pamper yourself with the Indulge class, which features a very cool restaurant and personalised cinema, or you could go with the masses in the usual screening rooms. Either way, TGV has done a good job with this outlet.

My personal experience watching a movie with Indulge TGV cinema at OneU. First of all, my movie choice was quite lengthy, not other than our new Avatar 2022. Wow, I had a fantastic time with complete comfort. Good food served, and the cinema screen clarity was amazing with superb sound quality.

TGV is still one of the best cinemas to visit, as it's also the first modern concept of ciniplexes in Malaysia when One Utama opended.

I remember over 20+ years ago, I used to come here to watch movies for RM 6.00. Now i came back again in Jan 2023 to watch Avatar, and it's still an awesome cinema. They also have Indulge, which is a premium experience worth trying once in your life.

we were supposed to watch john wick 4 at one utama, our friend bought the ticket, but we were abit late. so we were confuse whether its TGV or GSC, so we went and ask one of the staff at TGV where's GSC, and as we walk, we are already late.

so we when and bought popcorn and water, just to find out that our ticket was supposed to be at TGV. we head back and the staff were really nice by letting us in even though we didnt bought their product.

John Wick 4 rating : 4/5 . the fighting scene are the same as JW2 and JW3. recommended though!

My favourite TGV cinema! Clean, cosy, many halls, cheaper Movie tix vs GSC. Place to lounging before & after the movies! Best caramel popcorn too!

Comfortable seat with alot of choice of cinema experience

Very decent and compact size IMAX Hall, no unnecessary indulge seats in the middle, unlike Sunway Velocity

Yes, amazing place indeed. Well lighted. Toilets are not too far from the main cinema area. Clean, well my. Highly recommended

Maybank IMAX hall - Big hall with crystal clear wide screen showing 2D or 3D movie.

Indulge cinema hall - Huge recliner chair with blanket provided, leave you having an extremely comfortable movie time, plus food and drink will be served by the crew via the touch screen ordering system (if any)

Absolutely fantastic VIP cinema experience here at TGV 1 UTAMA, the staff were very friendly accommodating and were their to help at your whim anytime you required. I couldn't speak any higher of this place and would highly recommend it if you fancy a lovely night out with the wife or girlfriend.

Entering this premises of TGV may get you surprised as compared to others of TGV cinemas. Looks like renovated or new theatre.

- The seats 💺 are wider than other TGV.
- Twin seat was kind of great experience to me.
- Twin seat is best option if you have a kid with you. Coz its like twin sofa 🛋
- The theatre lightings will give you feel as of you have entered inside some Marvel set 😃👌🏼

Also mall is quite big if you want to spend some time, have some food from all famous brands and take some time out for shopping 🛍.

Got myself an indulge ticket. They serve you a welcome drink and some popcorn while they get the hall ready. The hall and the blanket is clean. Unfortunately they do not have a screen to order food. You’ll have to call the waiters in the hall if you would like to order.
