Palm Hotel Ipoh

Very good.

Me and my partner are currently travelling Malaysia and had a 3 night stay in Ipoh. We chose this place as it was close to a gym as we are avid gym goers.

We were welcomed warmly as we arrived, addressing me by my name which was a great introduction. Check in ran smoothly and we went to our room. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable.

The staff couldn’t have been more hospitable, we felt very relaxed whilst we stayed there.

Attached to the hotel is a cafe which serves good coffee and baked goods.
Across the road is an industrial estate, in which there is a shopping mall. In this shopping mall there was a few shops, places to eat and the gym we used for the duration of our stay.
BEWARE OF THE STRAY DOGS ON THE CARPARK. STICK TO THE PATH AND DO NOT WALK DIRECTLY ACROSS THE CARPARK
My partner was chased by these dogs unknowing they were there, however when sticking to the paths it did not happen again

This has nothing to do with the hotel however, our stay was very pleasant. I would come again, thank you very much to the team there.

Awesome place to stay, comfortable, clean, receptionist were polite, good security, fast response. Recommend to stay here, affordable as well.

The hotel staff is very helpful, courteous and friendly. Since I am using wheelchair, they got me a very good room. It's peaceful there. Even the housekeeping staff is very helpful and courteous. I enjoyed my stay of 2 nights there so much. Next to the hotel got Chinese restaurant and Japanese restaurant which is so convenient. Will definitely come again and highly recommended.

Polite and professional. Aeon Big is just opposite the road. Plenty of foods restaurant around the area.

Hotel was excellent for the following reasons:
1. Hotel and Rooms are clean, also, smelt good
2. Bedsheet and Pillowcases were clean and smelt good too
3. Staffs were accommodating. They allowed us to check in and check out 15 mins earlier and
later
4. Strategic location where the town area and attractions are nearby. AEON is right opposite
5. Reasonably priced rooms
6. Highly recommended hotel for a vacation/business trip

hotel was good and reasonable for the price. my fam and i loved it after a quite traumatising experience from another hotel. we came during christmas so decor was amazing !! the room was pretty spacious and cold. the bathroom was abit small but it was great as well.

Stayed for 2 nights here to attend my colleague's wedding and I gotta say, I'm impressed! The hotel is easy to locate and the check in staff is extremely friendly and helpful. My friend and I arrived at night and the staff easily recommended a nearby hawker center for us to have our dinner. The room is spacious and clean. The rates are great considering the location and design of the place. Will stay there again next time.

Like the location. Room and facilities are basic yet clean. The staff Mr Sunder (Hope I got his name correct) at the reception, though a trainee, is efficient and friendly. I hope that he could remain his friendly disposition and be less aggressive like his more experienced female colleague.

Clean, big spacious and comfortable rooms. Plus they're really affordable. Family rooms are especially great value. There is a cafe and a Chinese restaurant downstairs that seems pretty popular. Location is out of town but that can be a good thing as you avoid the traffic and plus you're never really too far away from anything in Ipoh. Definitely recommend it to families and couples.

Love the room, ample space. Strong aircon and water pressure. Toilet clean. White bedsheets and 2 pillows per guest. Noise is bearable for me. Its not an indoor parking. Only no fridge. Great food nearby.

Location: quiet neighbourhood and stone throw away from the hustle and bustle of Ipoh town. Ample parking space (dedicated parking for hotel guests at night).

Hotel: simple hotel setup with responsive reception staff and seating area.

Room: spacious room with super strong pressure hot shower. Comes with toiletries. Bed is very comfortable and guarantee a good night sleep.

Amenities in walking distance: Chinese restaurant, AEON supermarket, TF Value Mart, famous dim sum shop.

Overall, reasonably priced, comfortable stay in this quiet town of Menglembu.

Booked this room last minute and still managed to find a very good room with good price. Room was spacious and very clean. The bathroom is very big and comfortable. Staff are friendly and respectful. Overall loved my stay here.

Thanks to the hotel manager and staff for decorating the room for my daughter’s birthday. Thank you for the cakes, we love it! Should take more pictures especially the balloons on the bed but my kids can't wait to play with it 😂

Value for money

Pro : Clean, new, strong aircon, hot & strong water shower, plenty of plug available. comfy bed and pillow(Provided 4 pillow). The cafe around lobby have good food. A little bit small but taste good.

Con: The only one is the hot water need to wait a while. Open water and wait about 2 Minutes....But still acceptable.
Location Not around downtown. Very good for solo business traveler. I will recommend to my friend and put into my Ipoh hotel list

A family for 3 was Rm168 /night.new building, spacious room, clean,with slipper, coffee, hair dryer, towels, toiletries and drinking water. No laundry bag and bar fridge . Even though it was located at the road side but there is no issue with noise. Plenty of parking ,aeon was within walking distance if you wanna shop. No complain except temperature of room was a bit warm as the hotel limited the low at 23°. We sweat 😥 in the blanket.

Second round staying in this hotel. I must give it a five stars. Clean linens,sheets and toilet. This time we checked in earlier so called the front desk to have maintenance guy to look at the aircon temperature and it was actually adjustable. 👍 Thus, no complain, 5 🌟

Took a long shot and after looking for the right hotel, I am pleasantly surprised with this hotel. Service was attentive, value for money, clean, comfy and spacious room through my 5 nights stay here. Just 10mins away from the town, it is a quiet place in Mengelembu among the industrial area and has the most beautiful sunset view from my room.

Room had powerful rain shower, amazing bed with fluffy yet big double pillows. Daily complimentary water bottles, and clean towels. Good lighting across the room and are working well.

The cafe downstairs too had a killer iced mocha and they accept all E-payments. Too bad the bar is closed due to RMCO otherwise would have considered to patronise their infamous cocktails.

Plentiful of parking space and walking distance to AEON/AEON BIG mall.

Nice Hotel. I booked this hotel for a friend of mine from Singapore 🇸🇬. Yup, they were happy with the room and price too.
Situated between Menglembu and Ipoh, very strategic place. The room were spacious and the bed 🛏 were good.
Classy looking lobby with a mini western restaurant and a local mini bar. 🍷 🍻 🍶

Bonus : Opposite is Aeon Big and nice food is just near by
