My stay was great! The vibes and aesthetics were great, the room itself was comfy and the toilet was superb. Staff is friendly and approachable, give Moti a raise!

Quiet little hotel right in the middle of downtown Ipoh for a reasonable rate. I chose this spot specifically because it allows pets, and my cat really loved exploring the space (the rule is that you must keep them in their carrier if they're in the room unsupervised). The rooms are very restful even though the walls are a bit thin. My balcony was small and overlooked the side garden below, and we could see the road but still maintain privacy.

Reception staff are scarce the first half of the day. The decor is really interesting, very wood-oriented (my dad and I spent several minutes trying to figure out how they lock the front door made of found, polished wood with a big hole in the middle!) and the murals have an odd artsy feel. They have common areas to hang out in with water coolers and an ironing board (in case you're in town for a fancy event).

Everything about this hotel is nice! The decor, the customer service, it is a nice hotel for a short stay. Located at the very heart of Old Town Ipoh. There are cafes and other attractions nearby. Everything is a walking distance. However, do note that there is no elevator here and you might need to walk up the stairs to the third floor room.

Our family stayed at the Happy 8 @ Pasir Puteh and had our wedding ceremonies there. The host was very helpful and accommodating to all our needs. The decor of the place was super artistic and makes for really good pictures. The place was clean and well kept. We had a very comfortable stay. Will recommend for anyone visiting Ipoh!

Stayed at the hotel above the cafe for a couple nights with my partner. The included breakfast was really good. Our Room was comfortable and well looked after with an artsy and rustic feel.

The majority of the decor throughout the cafe and hotel is natural shaped and cut wood blended tastefully with old-town architecture which creates a really unique feel. They also have a koi pond under some of the cafe tables, adding to a sense of being outdoors.

Didn't stay here but had desserts here. Ordered Passion fruit & grapefruit drinks. I love the passion fruit one. The grapefruit is nice but I don't like grapefruit. My mum & sister say its nice.
Cakes I ordered the Earl Grey burnt cheesecake & red velvet. Both also very nice. I prefer the Earl Grey.
Staffs were very nice & friendly. Cafe decoration is beautiful & nice. can do some photoshoot here. Love the door with Chinese word for door written on it.

With the artistic and vintage furniture choices, cozy interior, beautiful murals, soothing music in perfect volume, rustling sound from the water fountains, fishes swimming underneath the dining tables, tropical plants and reasonable food prices, I could spend my whole day in this #cafe! Best Cafe that I've visited in Ipoh so far!! However, I find that the outdoor part of the cafe has quite a number of mosquitoes which can be quite disturbing.

It's like a hidden gem. The place is cozy and great for catch up as it is quiet enough. The best is the lady boss, she's the most friendly! She brought thru the menu. I ordered the signature 'ni hao' coffee and she told us a story about the coffee (please order to hear the story too). If you're into durian, the durian mille crepe is A MUST order! This is probably the best durian cake I've ever tasted. Bravo!

Now that's a cafe I bumped in out of nowhere. I was just walking past that I noticed it and felt the pull of it. As I went in I was awed by it's artistic outlook and detailed designing. At first I had no intention of eating here as I just had something before coming in here, however I needed to absorb the beautiful atmosphere so ordered a drink. I sat for sometime and just passed time sipping on my drink (had ordered an avocado special and it was really refreshing).

Unique place. Very comfortable. Consider as a high end cafe in Ipoh. The cakes is a must try food. So good the taste. Most of its are homemade with high quality ingredients. Once you try, you will fall in love with it. Is a 100% healthy cafe. The fruits juice are without sugar and ice. The foods there are less oil, less sugar and less salt but very tasty. Worth to try.

Review of the café only. Charming design with plenty of character; bamboo, water, wood, and old China.

The Vietnamese drip coffee was excellent, took me back to Saigon. The normal drip coffee was fine. The dumplings were ok, filling was a bit too dense and dry.

Five stars as a place to have a drink and relax for a bit, not so sure about the food either way...

I was just walking down the street in Ipoh and suddenly someone calls me and my family into this shop. Was it safe to go? Probably not. But did we go? Yes because she said there was cake. I didnt know what to expect to see behind a bunch of trees but I certainly did not expect to see an elegant cafe with cute furniture and vintage wallpapers. It was so pretty. And the food- oh my god it was mind blowingly good. My favourite was the sweet potato matcha cake because it was so unique and it made so much sense as I ate it. It was a wonderful experience. Please do go and eat cake there.

Include full of art and creative works around the hotel, feel natural and comfortable environment. Recommended to stay for a short period to cool down your pressure and frustrated feelings. That's good! Thumbs up 👍

The BEST cake we have had in All of our travels around Asia. So moist and rich with flavor. Highly recommend taking your coffee break here.

I was here for dinner on 1/7/17, and I leave my bag here overnight. The owner was very kind to help me keep it nicely and return back to me. And she asked me to check the bag to see anything missing. Thanks and highly appreciate for her honesty and kindness.

The place has a nice ambience, relaxing music to go with a drink. Very relaxing place to spend time in. Ordered their Hidden Drink, very unique with the addition of turmeric flavour.

Seriously good coffee. The cold drip was very smooth and Vietnamese Iced was one of the best I’ve had. Awesome spot for a break when visiting Ipoh.
