Atmosphere of Christmas is 100% first class.
Service, those ladies waitress , are absolutely fab.

Absolutely lovely place with a very nice ambience. Attended a birthday party here. The food quality is quite good. The service is great. The place gives you a very calming and relaxing feeling. Design is classic. With private parking lots. It is a massive old bungalow turned into a cafe.

Waffles and Belgian chocolate are superb. Those who liked peppermint could try mojito kiss.

Awesome place for dinning. 1st time choosing this place to celebrate Valentines. Their menu surprised me, taste, deco and portion also up to standard. Each dishes gave me surprise and taste really good. The salad served with smoke sausage just not suit my taste. Others really good, Ipoh can find a nice place serve up to standard menu.
Next time visit, will try out others menu.

This place is recommended for small scale wedding event with 90pax. Couple can choose to held their ROM at garden or corridor while having reception indoor.

Good quality food! Pan seared sea bass, sautéed mushroom. Garlic bread, sabah tea chicken, nasi goreng istimewa, English fish and chips are delicious. I love their passion fruit sabah tea cold!!!. Staff are polite too.

Used to come here on weekly basis due to outstation to ipoh. The food is still good as usual. The Balinese satay is a gem! Steak good perfectly

Great heritage bungalow with good spread of menu in this restaurant. Prices is on the high side but you pay for premium and you get the quality and atmosphere. Smoke Tea chicken is a must try... You can taste the sweetness and smoked chicken.. very tender and juicy. The orange chicken is lovely and kids will love it too. Must return at night for the scenery.

I love the food, and the service here is very good.

They have wines but no pork.

The atmosphere is not the only thing that I like in this restaurant..I'm impressed with the service. I like to visit this place every time when I think about great food and spend time with my close friends. The atmosphere inside is great.Great variety and fine value tasting menu. Exciting food with high quality presentation.

Set in an old colonial bungalow house. Very nice decor. Food was great however when I ordered beef burger, it came as a lamb burger. Didn't have any issue with lamb so it was still good. Just hope the waitress gets the right order next time. Choc lava cake was great!

There is a chinese waiter girl (dunno her name) with such a helpful and positive attitude. She helped to accommodate us and trying hard to find a table for my family. The manager should groom and promote her =)

Located in a old mansion, the STG Tea House serves great entrees and desserts. Love their Duck Egg Char Kuey Teow which was full of flavour and wok hei. Their tea was also great - but take note that it is non-refillable.

The service is excellent and their time to serve was relatively quick. Plenty of parking spaces available, but it is recommended to call ahead to reserve especially during weekends.

Really great ambiance,and the price is very worth for the quality and the volume. The fish goes very well with the sauce, the signature tea chicken hmm tastes weird but is new to me still acceptable , pizza was amazing lots of cheese and the pine nuts on it goes very well . For desserts , crème brûlée was so smooth and cream loved it! The best was the waffles with ice cream!!!! It was crispy on the outside soff and fluffy inside drizzled with chocolate sauce and a scoop of ice cream!! Amazingly great, plus the portion is quite big for the price.
The outside of the restaurant is very beautiful,this branch is better than the one in ipoh town in terms of appearance not sure about the food.

Beautiful colonial mansion converted to a tea house. The ambiance is fantastic, you’ll never find another restaurant as historical as this. The food is great and visiting this place reminds me of the times when I’m in the UK. Worth a visit for sure!

The colonial ambience of the cafe is very nice. Not only tea and dessert but also have local cuisine to Western food. If you order a pot of tea, you can drink about 3 cups and no refil (there's no tea leaf in pots, so no point filling up hot water.)

Lately, tried their delivery food. They were well packed and presented nicely. Highly recommended.

I would like to express my gratitude to Ms Nancy and her colleagues, for helping me to courier the books and bottle which I accidentally left behind at STG after a good afternoon high tea.

Kudos to the team and management for willing to go extra miles to their customers. Definitely will revisit again when we travel to Ipoh!
