Masjid Sultanah Bahiyah

One of the most active mosques in Alor Setar in terms of Islamic as well as communal activities. On every weekday mornings, KAFA classes will be available at Dewan KAFA beside the mosque. The mosque also is very active in organizing Islamic lecture sessions especially between Maghrib and Isya'.

A very clean and conducive mosque, with various facilities around it cater for the worshippers and musafirs (travellers). There is also a big parking space around the main building meant for the public. The restrooms and the ablution area behind the main building are also very clean and newly renovated.

Spacious parking. A lot of facilities. Fully airconditioned. But there are a few beggars here, the child is always sleeping, hopefully not part of syndicates using children.

Today they had full day program.actually it started yesterday with selawat.this morning they have kursus umrah dan haji, daurah pengajian kitab,tazkirah,after Friday prayer there are several religion programs and later at night is the peak.'selawat' program always a hit!just come by and your day will be fulfill with knowledge while you can perform your daily solah.sit in the mosque niat iktikaf, perform solat sunat tahiyatul masjid,believe me..your heart will touched..Allahummasollia'laamuhammad..Allahurabbi..
Oh I almost forgot there are sultanah inn.not sure how much is the rate.I'm sure we can get the info at the website..just google 'Sultanah inn'
And there is koperasi I'm not sure what are they selling..maybe Muslim products.and I'll be here in no time to support Muslim economy!

This mosque is always full of people reciting al-Quran, perform sunat prayers, and some are attending the mosque just to listen to tazkirah for every after maghrib's prayer sessions. You will be feel loved once you enter this mosque.

Beutiful and comfortable masjid especially for woman. Its also has nice homestay for tourist with affordable price

Has air-conditioning. No wheelchair access though.
