Rumours Beach Club

Celebrated my birthday with family. If you are driving, park at beach station and take a walk over. Don’t follow the GPS. Will get lost. We made a reservation for 8 pax but when we arrived, the only set 6 pax so we ask for a table and 2 chairs. They did keep the cake in the chiller for us that was a great help. Menu had western and Asian food with BBQ as an alternative options. We ordered our food and I was expecting to wait as mine was from the BBQ menu. All the food arrived but I only had my plain rice which was strange. Why would they serve me my rice when my BBQ dish was not ready yet. I waited for another 15 mins while my family were almost done with their meal and trust me I was hungry. No I was very hungry. I then asked the service staff how long more were my BBQ clams ready and that’s when she said ohhh sorry I forgot to key it in. Totally outraged when I heard that. They said they needed 15 mins which I waited. And they did not have any initiative to replace the rice when the clams came even after I prompted them. I have to give them a one star cause I felt that their service really let them down to the point where the food quality was affected. They rush the BBQ clams order and that too was underwhelming. I hope they respond to me and make it right to invite me down again so that they can change my opinion of this place. Well as of now it’s really bad. I would have to understand if they were busy but come on the place was only half full. Disappointed

Was invited back by Gilbert. Thank you for the complimentary meal and a bottle of Prosecco. He recommended the non-spicy butter garlic clams and they were delicious. They apologized for the past dining experience and we had a good chat. All is good. I'm sure to be back here again. Thank you Review Updated.

Celebrated our daughter’s 21st birthday with her group of 25 friends. And they had a blast! Food was great, service was efficient, staff was super helpful and the location provided the perfect backdrop for a pool/beach party! Everyone had fun! Many thanks to Gilbert and his team for the wonderful arrangement!

Food is seriously quite good. I did not award 5 stars for food because I find that the Caeser Salad portion is too small for the price. On top of that, the red wine selection is not up to standards too. Staff were friendly and efficient. Atmosphere is good- feels like you are on a vacation minus the passport. Would definitely be back again.

The atmosphere is just wonderful. One of a kind even in Singapore. Lovely sunset. Great music. Delicious food and super amazing service.

Rumours is the perfect place to chill with friends or family! Everything on the menu is absolutely delicious (love their platters and pasta!) and the view of the beach with the pool is just gorgeous! 😍They also have amazing service and spare towels so you can enjoy the pool hassle free! Definitely book a table or sofa before you go! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Best view, pool and beach on the island! Manis was the best hostess allowing us to tour the premises before selecting our spot. I advise getting the pool side day bed with umbrella as this will give you the best of the pool/bar amenities as well as great view and access to the beach below!

The staffs were really nice with the kids despite the mess that they have created. They gave free ice cream, balloons on the day we went.

Great ambience for a out of Singapore, beach resort dining experience. It’s not as crowded as before but you can enjoy great sunset there. There are min. spending requirement for sofa seats but you can easily hit that for a group of four. Food and service are so so as they are very busy during evening.

Place is awesome and the staff are very helpful. I had done reservation for 5 sofa for 35 people on 16Dec 2023 but due to Heavy rain we had to shift in the shelter place but the staff where helpful and the private pool area was vacant so they shifted me and my guest there and we had the best time. Thanks Rumors and staff for welcoming as and my guest and we had best time.

Super chill beach club.
The Balinese Chicken rice was great. Sambal was satisfying, although I wish there was more sambal.

Service was fantastic, staff were quick to refill our water and ice when requested.

Their staff was friendly and professional. Myself and my guest were well taken care of during our request. When dusk, the pool and the beach scene was awesome with colored lighting change to create an ambient temperature with music that makes you wanna enjoy more at the rumours bar. I highly recommend a couple or group of parties to celebrate there. I like the waitress there, as they are very attentive to service customers. Thumb up!

Spent a late afternoon here. Enjoyed the pool which is of a good size and cooled myself off quickly with a dip. The club has a good sized toilet which has showers cubicles. Much of the beach area is not lit and so we moved from our deck chairs into the restaurant for our dinner. Food is surprisingly good and quite authentic Balinese.

Shah and Farhan never fails to bring joys to my family. Love the staff and the environment. Food is good.

BBQ sweet corn : awesome just awesome !!
Seafood platter : 8/10 (will bring my own Thai chilli next visit)
Satay : 9/10 ( not those frozen packet satay)
Overall experience : Very happy

Shah even offered to use buggy to send me and my family. Save me a lot of hassle as my kids is very active and naughty. Will be back again.

Superbly friendly staff at Rumours Beach Club! Shoutout to the guys at the front counter who made the whole beach club experience an excellent one - they were always looking out for me during the stay. I also enjoyed wading in the clean pool in an especially hot afternoon. Thumbs up to the team!

No complains - chill vibes, good staffing and food is good. Not so impressed by the drinks though - had 2 jugs; lychee mojito and an aperol something but both are MEH. I will close one eye on that because the food was good! The BBQ stuff was the best! Totally recommended the chicken satay and the BBQ Cumi.

Staff were all pleasant and Nicole was very helpful. Well done on the management team on not cutting back on manpower.

Enjoyed the cabana and the non-pretentious vibes of this place.

The best thing about our trip to Singapore. Nothing else came close. Great venue, good and beer. Excellent music and lovely staff.

Family’s favourite beach club now. We hardly go to the others. We have been going regularly since they first opened. Here, the food is good and the pool is of a good size for kids to play in.

Menu was recently updated. Tempeh chips were very good and you feel a little less sinful munching on them. They have added more furniture too. So, expect more crowds.

Well spent our weekend at Rumours Beach Club.

Pool is slightly warm (checked with staff that it ain't heated but it is slightly warm due to circulation of water or smth)

For $19.80++, there were three huge slices of fish for the 𝗙𝗶𝘀𝗵 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗽𝘀. Well battered, crispy skin with tender fish meat inside 🤤

The 𝗜𝗻𝗱𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝗴𝗿𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗲 ($𝟭𝟴.𝟴𝟬++) was delicious too. Flavourful rice, with yummy satay and zesty, spicy chilli 🌶 honestly, will be happy with just the rice and chilli.

The grilled chicken, however was a tad too dry and we didn't finish it.

🍹𝗖𝗼𝗰𝗸𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗹 ($𝟭𝟵.𝟴𝟬++) was alright but hoping that they have more sweet selection.
