There's a Singapore Pools outlet here and you can bet there's gonna be a long queue!

It's an OK Cheers, mostly for convenience stuff or some food on the go, but the prices are slightly higher. If you're looking for groceries, there's a Cold Storage nearby, or NTUC over at Vivo. I think more people come here for the Toto / Singapore Pools outlet inside.

Lots of items to sell. Item racks are quite cramped and difficult to pass through. Nowadays using money machine to accept cash notes so have to get used to it now.

Good location, middling product range, but very slow checkout service. There tap-pay terminals take about 10-20 seconds to process transactions, and the cash self-serve machines seem to slow down processing rather than speed it up. Their IT/payment systems seem dated & need an overhaul, & the environs also feel tired and in need of renovation. Feels like management have milked it for cash flow rather than investing in the customer experience.

came at 2/1/2024 1045 pm to get a water as 7-11 is closed, however when we reached there the door was open so we went in. Only to be chased away by the staff extremely rudely. i asked them i thought i saw tht they closed at 11, the staff at the cashier just ignored me. the extremely rude one is the lady/booch cashier with short hair. please update your opening hours if you are just going to be closed at your stated opening hours on google

I came to buy cigarettes on the 1st december at approximately 10pm. I was with my friend discussing on which one to buy, 3m from the counter and the cashier demanded my ic AND my friend’s ic. Why??? My friend and I have to even approach the counter. He acted like he was a police officer or something. We were of legal age to buy them by the way. Then when he knew we were legal he knew he was in the wrong. But then proceeded to say we were very suspicious because we were discussing what cigarettes to buy in front of him. IN FRONT OF HIM. How is that suspicious?? If we discussed outside it’ll obviously be more suspicious but in front? He apologised once but he wasn’t even apologetic smh. Harbourfront cheers fix you staff attitude and teach him how to be a respectable employee. If it was because of the colour of our skin i really just don’t know what to say.

Absolutely horrid. I requested for a DHL drop off at this Cheers outlet only to be reprimanded by the cashier. She demanded I visit another Cheers outlet as she was “busy” despite the fact that there were no customers in line. I have never felt so disrespected as a customer. Why even provide this drop off service if you are unwilling to perform it?

Rude staff the way he talk like we I owe him million dollars..
