My visit to the Sri Veeramakaliamman Temple in Singapore was a remarkable 5/5 experience. Today, coinciding with the vibrant Hindu festival, added an extra layer of cultural depth to my visit. The temple, steeped in history and adorned with intricate carvings and statues, stands as a testament to Indian architectural prowess and religious devotion.

The opportunity to try ghee rice was delightful, adding to the authentic cultural experience. The people at the temple were incredibly friendly, contributing to a warm and welcoming atmosphere. It's clear that there's a deep respect for culture here. For those not dressed in traditional attire, clothing is provided to ensure everyone can participate respectfully, reflecting the inclusive nature of this sacred space.

Visiting Sri Veeramakaliamman Temple is not just about observing a place of worship; it's an immersion into a rich cultural and religious tapestry. This temple is a must-visit for anyone looking to deepen their understanding and appreciation of Hindu culture and spirituality.

Thanks for having me!

Wonderful experience, especially around sunset, the people are very welcoming into their shrine to see it in action. Photos seem to be okay if you keep it discreet and respectful, shoes off at the door.

This famous temple on Serangoon Rd is a must visit Hindu temple here in Little India. With its beautiful glistening architecture surrounded by modern Singapore, you need to step in this temple to admire the beauty of this temple. You need to remove your footwear to go inside this temple. If you need to snap pictures, if possible make sure not to snap the pictures of the deities inside.

A famous temple just opposite Veerasamy Road, home to a host of Tamil origin restaurants. Very neat, spacious and well maintained. The vibes this temple attracts is easily felt as one gets in.

'Sri Veeramakaliamman Temple' is found in the Little India area, close to a couple of MRT stations.

It is a religious site so please pay respect. Shoes have to be left at the entrance, and entrance is free.

Many amazing sculptures inside, it is very photogenic.

Highly recommended.

Beautiful sight! Just be careful as it gets so crowded along the way near the ped xing. Okay to take pictures but I suggest to respect those who are coming to worship/just got out from the temple especially that some of their footwears are scattered outside.

The Sri Veeramakaliamman Temple is one of the oldest Hindu temples in Singapore and is located in the heart of Little India.

Step into the Sri Veeramakaliamman Temple, one of Singapore's oldest Hindu temples, dedicated to the goddess and destroyer of evil, Sri Veeramakaliamman or Kali.

This striking landmark in the heart of Little India tells fascinating stories of colonial-era Singapore.

Great place.
Devotional atmosphere

The main good thing was that they serve prasadam at night as much as you want..
It's 100% hygienic and tasty.
Helps a lot of migrants/tourists who miss the home food, the poor and needy.

The deity is majestic.

The temple is very close from the little India mrt and it takes 10min to reach by walk from there..

You can stroll across the jewelry stores and Indian restaurants along the way..

Feels like you are back in India but much cleaner streets

When you are out of India and you see Hindu temple and that too well maintained and managed the a temple in India you feel so proud.
The temple has so many statues and the architecture and painting is really good lot of silver work done in the gate of main Sri Veeramakaliamman temple. I was more happy when saw so many foreigners coming to the temple and were amazed after seeing the statues and work.
I just have request to the temple running people that they should not allow anyone in shorts atleast please.

About a 10 minute walk from the little India mrt station. The architecture of the temple is brilliant. It was very busy on a Saturday at 6pm so I recommend not going on weekends. There are lots of shops in the area leading up to the temple.
