I did a food tour with Sam. It was an incredible experience. He went above and beyond. He catered to our vegetarian requests. And gave us a tour of Georgetown as well. I highly recommend him. He drove us around and spoke about the history and culture of Penang. I booked using with locals. But booking directly is better as he will be able to customize the tour and do longer tours.

Memorable Family Trip Thanks to Sam's Journey

We recently entrusted Sam's Journey with the responsibility of organizing a 5-day trip for our extended family of 10 from Taiwan to Penang, Cameron Highlands, and Sekinchan. I am delighted to say that our experience surpassed all expectations, leaving us with cherished memories and a deep appreciation for their exceptional service.

The carefully crafted itinerary allowed us to explore the unique charm of Penang, the breathtaking landscapes of Cameron Highlands, and the tranquility of Sekinchan. Each destination was well-selected, offering a perfect blend of cultural experiences, natural beauty, and relaxation.

The seamless transportation arrangements ensured a stress-free journey, and the driver Mr Hamzah's and Sam's expert handling of the vehicle let us feel that we were in safe hands even on the narrow winding roads of Cameron Highlands during heavy rain.

The vehicle was new and comfortable and contained charging ports under each row of seats. Sufficient mineral water was also provided to ensure that were not left thirsty during the entire trip.

Sam was meticulous in his planning, and the well-organized transfers between destinations contributed to the overall efficiency of the trip.

On top of that, Sam was also very friendly and wildly entertaining and kept us entertained throughout the entire trip. Furthermore he also went above and beyond to ensure everyone in our diverse group felt included.

Furthermore, he was also extremely knowledgeable and passionate about the regions we visited, showing us the local cuisine and specialties that we would otherwise not have known about.

The team at Sam's Journey demonstrated a commitment to customer satisfaction that was truly commendable. From the initial planning stages to the end of the trip, they were responsive to our queries and flexible with our requests. Their dedication to making our family vacation special was evident in every interaction.

Sam is really the perfect guide! He is nice, always happy and he made us feel comfortable since the very first minute we met him! He is really an easy going person with whom is really enjoyable speak and spend time.
He explained us a lot of things not only related to the tour we were doing but also more in general on Malaysia culture.
He drove us in different locations, also adding additional few spots to accomodate our requests!

Sam was our food tour guide for our time in Penang and we absolutely loved him! The interior and exterior of the vehicle is neat and tidy and extremely well kept. Spacious with ample leg room. Vehicle looks very new and well equipped from step down ladder to Emergency kits, sewing kits & walking stick for elderly. Very well thought out. 👏🏼👏🏼

An excellent service in that he would go out of his way and endeavour to assist to his best ability to ensure the comfort of the traveler. Customer safety is his priority and it was truly an enjoyable experience. Able to be flexible with tour scheduling to accommodate customer requests.

Not too hefty. Not too rushed. Perfect for a short recharge getaway fit for family of adults and kids.
