The best place to have east cuisine, especially their chicken mendi and lamb shank mendi. Their dessert kunafa also nice, and also their tea.. everything was nice actually. Their food mostly come with big portion but with a very affordable price. This is one of my partner favourite restaurant and we will coming here everytime we craving for nasi arab and lamb shank 🥰🥰

Superb kebab. Tried kebab special & kambing. Both are fresh & crunchy. The cheese & chili sauce is good match. Always get them as supper. (Resonable price) The shop & surrounding is clean.
Plus, there are tons of tables so there's always a place for you.
Esp. it operates till late night. Ideal place for gathering. Or just to spend your me time here. The staffs are friendly & polite.

Are you a footie, this is the best place to test the original Arabic cuisine flavor . Yemeni snd Middle eastern cuisines, Mandi , Madbi , Haneeth, Kabsa, Maqloba, Mashawi , sheesh , Fateer, Humos, Falafel , and many other dishes with a very reasonable price . The taste is incredibly delicious. The stuff are friendly and helpful with a wide smile .they can talk Arabic, English and Malaysian Languages so don't hesitate to ask for help about dishes .
Diverse set of Hot and Cold drinks . Loved Turkish coffee there .
Do not forget to try their Kunafa as Dessert after eating . New experience if you are not familiar with Arabic sweets. Of course there is many desserts you can select from -, but personally I prefer Kunafa as it is a part of my culture.

Order the mendy lamb and barbican. I also tried the Humus, Maqluba lamb and maqluba chicken. One of the best in Penang. Might be hard to find a parking spot at night coz the place is popular. Edit 5th June 2022. Still good although not as good as the last time I was there. Seems like the lamb portion is smaller.

Waiting time is quite long tho, but worth it.

Good food. The portion were bigger than we imagined. The spices are nicely used i. The cookings. I really love the tender lamb and my kids enjoyed the food there too as its not too spicy

I love their Nasi Arab Kambing and their cheese Naan.

Lamb is soft, tender and juicy. Rice is fragrant, generous and flavourful.

Their cheese naan is so good, love the chewy texture and the gooey mozzarella.

Last i been here around 2016. The mendi rice and chicken still same as I eat before. Can enjoy Arab cuisine there instead of nasi Arab mendi.

Hidden gem... Mandy lamb is the best... Big portion. Standard price... 100% recommended..

I’ve ordered Sish lamb kebab and the meat was well seasoned and tender. My friend ordered Mandi Chicken Rice and the portion was so big plus scrumptious. This place is very recommended if you want to find mid-eastern cuisine with affordable price

I like here. The lamb portion damn big. But rice if can use extra 30% is better since I'm big eater. Usually eat chicken rice + rice + chicken or 2 plates from Penang hawker stall.

The tandoori not my type maybes because i prefer more tender rather than black crispy but just 10% black. Realized Penang tandoori mostly grilled until almost black.

The food was delicious.Price reasonable.Waiter friendly.The best thing is they can custom made the food according to what you want, not necessary from thier menu only.

One of the best mendi and makhluba in Malaysia. Don't expect your makhluba to be Arabic. It has Malaysian fusion of chillies and soup
