A large mosque easily accessible and clearly visible from the main road connecting Alor Setar and Kepala Batas/Jitra and beyond with its striking golden dome and high minaret. Lots of free parking lots around the mosque for visitors to park. The mosque is serene and calm, no noise from the main road heard inside the main prayer hall even though it is just beside the road.

A well-maintained and clean mosque with a nice blend of the Ottoman Turkish and Malay architectures. The amenities around are also well-maintained in my opinion. The places for ablution and toilets are also located near the main entrance, easy for travellers to use them.

Maghreb prayer in here. Modern designed with standard facilities and infrastructures. Latest info-graphic technology installed. However limited parking space.
