Mandarin Oriental, Kuala Lumpur

It was by far the most luxurious hotel experience that I have had for years. The view was great over the klcc gardens and the pool area was just gorgeous. Especially the cleaning crew did an amazing job noticing small details. For example my book did not have a bookmark so they added one. The restaurant was also great. In general, a truly 5- star experience.

We stayed here a few times and each time had amazing time. The service is great. Staff are very friendly and polite. We got welcome amenities that included macarons, chocolate and fresh fruits. The rooms are beautiful, the bed is very comfortable and the pillows are soft. There are a few restaurant with amazing food and view. It also has infinity pool, spa and golf.

Stayed over the weekend, 24 to 26th November to experience 5 star luxury. Besides the challenge of the jam to enter the parking on Friday night, there are ups and down in terms of my stay. The room was excellent with a commanding view of the park! Service at certain areas need improvement while in some areas it was great! will definitely stay in again when budget allows it!

Been coming here since early 2000, 1st time was with my dad and now with my husband, surprisingly it’s still well maintained 👍🏻, always stay here when hubs has a meeting in KLCC,which is just a walking distance from the hotel and I will go for my regular visits to do my facial and manicure.

I have stayed from standard rooms,to 1 bedroom apartment to 2 bedroom apartments and we got a free upgrade this time at a 3 bedroom apartment,tq MO for the great hospitality 🥰👍🏻

Extremely luxurious and with a view overlooking the KLCC Park. Rooms are comfortable, quiet and as with the rest of the hotel impeccably clean and maintained to the highest standard.

I'm so glad we chose this hotel. It is first in a great location but highly recommend a club room. The staff are great but best of all the food is top notch. The chefs do a great job.

Outstanding hotel experience, full 5 stars for service, room quality and the pool area. Small touches like providing iced water without having to ask around the stunning pool was amazing. Well located for KLCC and worth paying the upgrade for a room with a view of the towers. Not too far from the elevated walkway down to Bukit Bintang and the Metro is around 5 minutes away with good cafes around for breakfast and the truck store area for cheap but good dinners.

Hoping to return to KL as soon as, and will stay here again no hesitations.

This is a fantastic hotel in a great central location. The hotel is beautifully ‘Art- deco’ styled. I genuinely could not find fault in any aspect. The staff, rooms, service and food were all outstanding. My highlight was the 3rd floor pool bar and restaurant. It overlooks the stunning skyline with an infinity pool and great views of the tropical park below. The manager Malik was superb- he runs this amazing team and has taught them by example professionalism, thought, empathy and most of all care. Thank you Malik you made our stay perfect. Good luck with your New Year’s Eve party it sounds great. We will definitely be coming back!!

Amazing staff who go above and beyond to cater for your every need. In particular the manager at breakfast Farouda was very accommodating to all of our dietary requirements. The staff are very good, the thing that lets this hotel down is that the rooms are very outdated, chips all over the furniture, the AC barely worked. With a brand new waldorf astoria opening MO needs a refurbishment badly.

Service from employees of any part of this hotel was amazing and consistent. All was courteous and helpful. Able to fix issues promptly on room mix up and good service recovery. Room was beautiful and location right next to KLCC. What more can I say? I enjoyed my stay here.

One of the best hotels, if not *the* best hotel I've stayed in. Excellent service, spacious and very well kept rooms, very comfortable beds, beautiful outdoor pool and adjacent gym overseeing it, excellent restaurants and very convenient location (right next to Petronas Twin Towers and a mall). Breakfast each morning had so much variety that I couldn't even try the various cuisines it offered, and the quality and taste of food was amongst the best.
The price is not bad at all for the services offered.
Highly recommend if you happen to be in that part of the world.

Great hospitality, friendly and generous service staff, hotel is at good location with walking distance to Pavilion Mall via sheltered walkway. Hotel is away from busy traffic noise. 1st time stay at this hotel and it blew me away. Will definitely return to stay here if I'm in KL again.

I'll start by saying how truly impressed I am with the hotel's quality of sevice and attention to detail. My 3D 2N stay at this hotel with my family was met with impeccable service and hospitality. Accommodating and friendly staff always willing to help with a smile. Housekeeping did an excellent job at maintaining the cleanliness of our room. Also was very touched that they even helped to reorganise the bathroom countertop after coming back from a long day sightseeing. Breakfast definitely surpassed any hotel I've ever been to. Such a wide variety of cuisines prepared and timely topped up when finished. Me and my family had a hearty time indulging in the array of delicious food. Without a doubt, Mandarin Oriental has exceeded my expectations and we'll definitely be coming back here again !

Service is top level and has an amazing atmosphere. So much attention has been paid to the decor. Rooms are really nice and very comfortable but could maybe use a tech upgrade.

My husband and I enjoyed our trip to KL and staying in the rooms of the Mandarin Oriental. What made it particularly special is the free drink voucher to use at one of their bars - the service there was impressive. The pool service was equally brilliant.

Stayed there in May with my husband and baby daughter - we absolutely loved it! The rooms are very spacious, the bed very comfortable with amazing views over KLCC park, and the service was impeccable. The pool is great - and I must say the fries with truffle mayo you can order by the pool is among the best I've ever had!

The choice for breakfast was also very good, special compliments to the gentleman at the roti station who knew I was a big fan of his roti and would prepare some for me every morning, even when the roti is not served at the buffet 🥰🥹

One thing I'd suggest though in order to improve the experience - I'd love the staff at the reception to be more friendly and welcoming. Usually when we travel and stay at 5* hotels the staff by/at the entrance would always make you feel welcome and home - and most would generally even "know"/recognise us if we'd stay more than 2 nights long. But here it did not feel like it was the case unfortunately, which would have made our stay even better.

Looking forward to coming back though the next time we come to KL!

Recently visited Mandarin Oriental KL for the first time during the New Year. The dining experience at Mosaic was exceptional for NYE, special thanks to Yulia's warm welcome and continuous attention to ensure everything was perfect. Impressed by her professionalism. Highly recommend!

Went to the restaurant to celebrate my husband's birthday. The food selections are abundant and they are good tasting. Absolutely love it. Been there couple of times and everytime never disappoint me. Husband was on wheelchair and the restaurant area is definitely friendly.

Although 25 years old, MO has maintained its services and quality overall that befits its 5star luxury status. Their business meeting facilities are superb. It offers a very nice view of the KLCC park especially at night.
