Restoran 83 Pokok Assam

17 Nov. 1st visit to this restaurant. Since it was a Saturday, the restaurant was crowded and my guess is that it must be a good food restaurant 😃.

Service was fast and our dishes were served. I would agree that the food were delicious and price was reasonable too especially with the pork trotter & frog's leg dishes. Will definitely come back when going to Taiping 😃

Made a reservation via WhatsApp. There's 2 of us and the lady boss was superb in recommending 3 seafood dishes prepared in distinct yet complimentary methods..strongly recommend to go for fish head as it's worth the money. We also had garlic fried prawns as crispy as cracker. Seafood is very fresh and pricing is very reasonable.

Delicious seafood dinner. The minced ginger steamed fish is very good. The specially booked stir-fried shellfish (chi-leh) with dried shrimps is very special. The other dishes are good too. The place is having a good business with many patrons. There are air-cond and outdoor seats available. Within the air-cond segment, there are 2 VIP rooms that you can request for for private function.

We arrived here around 6.10pm, there are already few tables of guests but they served the food very fast! Fast then fast food!!!

Nice food and served fast despite many customers. Self service refill hot water. The only cons I could think of is the floor a bit oily.

Haven't been here for quite some time. The food is just as good and did not have to wait long despite the place being quite busy. Still love the place.👍

When you can't dine in but still can tapau... Delicious food and nicely packed... + Reasonable price...

Assam Curry Stingray is the best taste and chicken wings without bones also recommended.

Seafood was fresh. We had ginger onion lala, fried sotong and steamed prawn, with reasonable price. No waiting because we went there early before the crowd.

The speed of serving the dishes is considered ok. Variety of dishes which are different from other restaurants. I tried sesame oil chicken and found it's good! The food portion is big, so mind your order, don't order too much!

Food, service and cleanliness is good.

A simple but satisfying meal of chicken kam heong with sizzling tofu, rice, tea for 2 pax cost us around rm31.

Shop shows it closes at 12am, but if you come around 11pm better ask first if the kitchen is still taking order.

Very good restaurants for families and price reasonable, got many manu to choose, can dinner in air con or non air con. The boss himself is the cook and he entertainment us even he is buzy. Alry book eve CNY here.

Usually busy during weekends & CNY. Repeat your orders to confirmed food choices are correct. About 10 multi size located outside for nature lovers. Air cond room has about 8 various tables sizes, Refill hot water into your own Chinese tea pot.

Nice Chinese dishes and reasonable price. Seafood price also cheap. Get crowded during dinner time.
