Malaysian Food Restaurant located in Ara Damansara PJ near Cantara Residences.

Heard that it’s flavor from a small town from Perak, Telur Intan.

They got very nice environment where can be casual & relax to kick start the day with wonderful breakfast. Choose a windows seat for natural day light.

There is also an area featuring local artist artwork & also up for sale.

Highly recommend their Mee Jawa, Bubur Sotong Kacang, & Nasi Pulut with Kaya.

Their Mee Jawa come with fried potato, full boil egg, bean curd, & fritters that different from most of other mee jawa.

Bubur Sotong Kacang is surprisingly nice with mix ingredient like yao zha gui, peanut, shredded chicken, & sotong.

The Nasi Pulut with Kaya look lovely with the flower shape, the size is just nice for a light dessert.

They accept DuitNow QR payment.

Will I come again? Yes.

This is the place where u can feel mummy’s homecook love in the food. My 2nd visit to this place. Tried most of their food. Memang best! I love the curry chicken, it’s super flavorful & just nice spicy level. Rice portion quite big for me, I’ve asked them to cut half.

Yam cake is my another fav pick. U can still see and taste chunk of Yam in the cake. Pair with the chili it’s just best matching.

Mee Jawa is another good choice. As their gravy added with a little spicy and not too thick broth. The crunchy keropok is best ever!

Love their ice coffee too! Not too sweet but the after taste of the coffee leaving with the tinge of bitterness of coffee bean is just my taste!

Squid peanut porridge is my all time fav too. As this is just how my childhood taste like. Pair with crispy you tiao, it’s awesome!

Loh Mee is not my usual choice but Loh Mee here is not bad.

Never tried pulut with curry prawn n chicken char Siew before, 1st time seeing this menu. The portion are huge I can’t finish the pulut.

Pecel sayur also new thing to me. But it’s good combination of peanut sauce with vege. According to owner this is indon dish like salad.

They’re adding on menu and owner mention will continue to add on after this. It’s a pleasure to eat here.

It's always good to have new restaurants in the Ara Damansara area. This place serves local favourites like nasi lemak, mee jawa and some unique dishes like pecel. The mee jawa was very good, with a thick gravy and the right amount of spiciness. The loh mee was tasty too. The pecel had fresh vegetables in groundnut gravy with a surprise mee hoon in the middle. Decor is very clean and pleasant and service was friendly and welcoming. Parking is on the street just next to the restaurant. We enjoyed our meal here.

The restaurant is located in the quieter side of Ara Damansara, and that can only mean one thing - parking is not.a problem here at all. The easiest way to find the place is to look out for the bright yellow signboards.

This restaurant is not large, with a dining area of about 10 to 12 tables or so. It's not lavishly furnished and was probably used more on the kitchen and the service counter. That's a good sign, actually, since the focus should be on the food.

Try to sit nearer to the counter as it's cooler. The further away you are from it, the warmer it becomes.

While not sporting too many items on their pork-free menu, I find that the restaurant highlights probably about 6 to 8 dishes as it's stars. There's the Jawa Mee, Nasi Lemak with different combinations of meat, Laksa, Lor Mee, and some specials on Saturdays and Mondays like their sticky rice with prawns and chicken char siew.

Service is very good, but do note that you have to order at the counter and pay first, and even though it says self-service for the cutlery, it'll be brought to you when your order is served.

I tried the Jawa Mee for this trip and ordered a Nasi Lemak, acar and Mee hoon Siam to take away.

The Jawa mee arrived promptly, and the portion was truly generous. I originally planned to have a Jawa Mee and then try other dishes as well, but after I had finished with my order, I couldn't fit in anything else. Being a Penangite, I am already familiar with the dish. However, my first taste of the version served here was a nice surprise. The soup base of Jawa Mee is normally made with potatoes and tomatoes, but here they replaced the potatoes with sweet potatoes instead. I was surprised at the sweetness of the soup base at first, but as I continued to eat, it was very nice indeed.

The nasi lemak and bee hoon siam which I had brought home to try later was also pretty good. It's not the best, but way above average.

Prices are very reasonable for the portions served! I'm quite glad I found this little gem in Ara Damansara, and I'll be back soon.

The curry chicken is so rich & tender, laksa noodle smooth as well soup not bad. Just can see some flies flying around the restaurant & on the food so hope owner can improve on that

This place was truly a pleasant surprise. The Nasi Lemak with fried chicken was well balanced.. star of the show was the Achar, sweet and tangy, went well with the dish. Fried chicken was piping hot (worth the 12 minute wait that's mentioned in the menu). Initially I thought the sambal was not enough, but it balanced well with all the other condiments.

Cosy simple cafe. I come here for the Assam Laksa and Mee Jawa (Northern style). Good choices of food.

Great food, fried chicken was only fried ordering, juicy inside, crispy on the outside. The acar is delicious too. Bonus is they are pet friendly outside.

Ride 40 minutes come to try my favourite Jawa Mee in the morning, feeling satisfied. Windy, clean, no more flies as saw some comment on it, owner really took action efficient on this. Highly recommend if you like North Malaysia Jawa Mee, Acar also nice. Coffee can be improved. Shaded even I sit outside.

Homey environment with local food. Mee Jawa & asam laksa was good! One of the best in PJ. Fried yam cake was also yummy. Tea was surprisingly fragrant.

Food taste amazing, sambal is nicely made. Just the price is slightly higher in this area around, chicken could be bigger, maybe a thigh and drumstick together as it matching price/higher with other hot nasi lemak shops murni/village/alimuthu.

Tucked in an industrial area of Ara Damansara, this chinese restaurant serves good comfort food, especially the Jawa mee and nasi lemak. Jawa mee is very flavourful, nice balance between spicy, savory, crunchy and doughy. Environment is nice, car parks are always available.

Good food, reasonable pricing. Atmosphere is comfortable with home feeling. Must try their glutinous rice, only available on Monday and Saturday with limited quantity.

It is difficult to come by Asam laksa this authentic. Generous portion of fish. No canned fish. My fussy MIL is pleased.

Worth every penny. Price is surprisingly reasonably competitely low. Beats food courts hand down.

Read some reviews and decided to give the place a try. Nice flavours, hearty and home cooked. Definitely one of the better outlets in this area. The yam cake is good, as is the mee jawa and porridge!
