Self Edge Mexico

Definitely not your standard Self Edge shop. I don't think I saw pair of jeans there. But they've got good stuff and it's worth a visit.

Purchased a shirt and a hat. The shirt is supposed to be 1100 ($55) peso’s and the hat 800 pesos ($40) . I found the shirt on the brands website for 50% off and asked if they would price match the brand which they declined but I totally understand and I still purchased the shirt to support local (the hat was also on sale but I didn’t even ask about that one as it’s sold out online). The total should have been 1900 pesos plus tax. I paid and my Uber was there so I had to hurry and run to my Uber and then I noticed on my receipt I was charged 3016 pesos which is far more than the 1900 I should have been charged even including tax.

I contacted them because I think they charged the hat twice or something and provided all the info about the pricing to which they were very rude and said nothing they sell is in pesos and that I must be talking about wholesale price. They didn’t want to do anything to make the situation right.

I should have ordered directly from the brand, not only because their customer service would be better but because everything was 50% off.
I chose to pay more here to have the item immediately and support local but they decided to charge over retail, then charge over what the items were tagged and act like they didn’t.

Their response is exactly what I’m talking about when I say bad customer service. Both items were tagged with pesos and US dollars. The total was incorrect - it should have been 1900 pesos + tax that doesn’t equal 3016 pesos. I didn’t find it cheaper online , I wasn’t quoting the sale price, I went directly to the brands site and the full retail price of the shirt is 1100 pesos and the hat 800 pesos. I’ve worked in multiple retail store much higher end then this store and we definitely don’t ever charge over the retail sale price and if we were to incorrectly charge someone we resolve it correctly.
