JW Marriott Los Cabos Beach Resort & Spa

We were just there about 2 weeks ago!! This place is one of the best resorts we have stayed at. The service is impeccable!! Alan was our waiter at the pool and his attention to detail and friendliness cannot be compared. He took the time to get to know you and made our stay here that much more fun!! The restaurant service was fabulous as was every aspect of our stay. This is a place you come to just relax and decompress. The location is away from the Cabo chaos which is just what we wanted. We will be coming back here, hopefully next year. Thank you for making our 25 wedding Anniversary a memorable one!!

I highly recommend this location for families, couples, and anyone else searching for a great time. I recently attended a wedding there and had a wonderful experience. The resort is exceptionally clean, beautiful, and has everything you could want and more - excellent service, multiple pools, beach access, great restaurants, and a fantastic atmosphere around every corner. I especially appreciated the service we received by the pool. Shout out to Rodrigo who was especially attentive and friendly. I would like to thank him and all the staff at the JW Marriott who made this stay especially enjoyable!

My husband and I recently stayed at the JW Marriott Los Cabos for the first time and had an absolutely fantastic stay. We were blown away by the level of service and the delicious food options at the resort. The room was very nice and the bed was comfortable. The adult pool was great and Omar was a wonderful server! The gym was nice and we used it multiple times during our stay, without having to wait for equipment.

We will be back for sure!

This is our 2nd time staying at the JW Los Cabos and it did not dissapoint - beautiful, great food, great location, great staff. Omar & Alan took care of us every day at the pool and absolutely made our trip even better - they went above and beyond to make sure we didn't lift a finger and are the best. People like that make us want to keep coming back!

Every day the resort got better and better!!! We discovered more and more stunning, well designed, spaces to enjoy the ocean views and architecture of the resort. Poolside service was amazing with Pedro! He was kind, helpful and gave us great spots to visit in town. Flora Farms is a must see nearby.
Margarita was the best housekeeper for our multiple rooms! The pools were nice and the grounds were peace-full, quiet, beautiful and never crowded. We loved using the gym every day, pickle-ball courts and walks on the beach. This is not a swimmable beach! Our stay was the perfect relaxing Christmas trip!

Can’t say enough good things about this hotel - the staff are incredible. I almost felt excited to tip on every order because of how great these people are.

The hotel rooms are big, clean, modern, and cozy. The hotel in general is extremely well kept.

The location is close to downtown San Jose which is super convenient.

My only recommendation is to add more adult entertainment. The pool is pretty quiet. I think there’d be an appetite for some more party vibes.

During the initial days of our stay, things got a bit noisy because the hotel was hosting a wedding reception. Our sleep quality suffered as a result. However, Gustavo, the front desk manager, proved to be exceptionally helpful. He not only arranged for us to switch rooms but also orchestrated several delightful birthday surprises.

We particularly enjoyed the kids club and the restaurant. It might have been because we visited during the off-peak season, but the kids club was relatively quiet. Consequently, the three sisters who worked there spent a lot of time with our daughter, engaging her in numerous activities and crafts. We were genuinely astonished by the personal growth our daughter experienced during those days, and she still fondly remembers those three individuals.

The breakfast buffet at the restaurant was superb. We leisurely spent our mornings there, soaking in the pleasant atmosphere. On the day of our departure, the restaurant staff went the extra mile by surprising us with a cake for our daughter and taking a memorable photo with us. It was a heartwarming gesture.

One day, I accidentally left my wallet by the pool. I'm immensely grateful to the hotel's vigilant security guard who kept it safe and promptly returned it to me the following morning.

The hotel's beach was closed during our stay, so we missed out on some seaside fun. We're hopeful that during our next visit, we'll have the chance to enjoy the beach.

A fine dining restaurant is a must-try place, the food was super good and the price was amazing. Also, if you're a platinum member, don't forget to use the spa space. It's definitely the hidden gems.

In general, we love this hotel and will definitely come back again.

We stayed at this resort for a week in June of 2023. I can't say enough how amazing our trip was. We mentioned in an email to the concierge we were coming to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. Upon arrival and the evening before departure, we received champagne and chocolate-covered strawberries! They went above and beyond to make this a special vacation for us! The food at all the restaurants was amazing! No need to leave the resort. Casa Maat restaurant surprised us with an amazing dessert and decorative candy heart centerpiece to celebrate our anniversary as well. The concierge was amazing even helping us book golf and all the activities. Even helped change our tee time last minute to allow guests we had just met to golf with us the next morning. Again, above and beyond! We look forward to our next trip at this resort! The room was very clean, the grounds impeccable, and can't say enough about the foods, drinks, and the staff! Very friendly, always smiling, and ready to help in any way. Already planning our next trip to this resort!

The hotels architecture is very cool and the rooms are nice! (the AC could work better). The pools are really cool and the spa is also nice.

The service here was EXCEPTIONAL, very friendly staff. Hector was our waiter most mornings for breakfast and was a delight to talk to. Joana was our housekeeper and made amazing towel animals in the room.

Would definitely stay here again!

What a place, but to be honest… Marco at the valet area was the most considerate hotel employee I’ve ever experienced. He, along with the rest of the staff was friendly and helpful above and beyond. Can’t recommend enough.

JW Cabo Review - We Had An Amazing Stay!!

We had the most INCREDIBLE stay at the JW Marriot Los Cabos!! We celebrated our four year wedding anniversary and were so blessed by the staff at this property. We stayed for 4 days, had the best meals, enjoyed the spa and the pool and the beautiful sunsets! We loved the resort and all the offerings but what we loved most about our stay was the people!!

Stayed on the Casa Maat side, where it was secluded, private, with personal service! Luis helped me plan our special occasion and took extra care to make us feel amazing! We enjoyed a quiet night along with delicious food at Cafe des Artistes

Fantastic hotel! Here is why. The staff. The staff at this hotel are the best. They treat you like gold and you can tell they really care. There is no underlying feeling that they resent you as a tourist. I have traveled extensively for over 30 years, and I can honestly say that this hotel has the best employees of any hotel I have stayed at. I would like to personally thank Daniel, Abraham and Jesus at the pools. They were so kind and made sure we were always in the shade, had beer in hand and food in our stomachs (the pool food is reasonably priced and very good). The second most amazing part of the hotel is the pools. The layout of the pools is fantastic. We were there for 5 days and we had a new pool everyday (well, almost, we did land on a favorite). Now the not so good. The hotel has a “known” issue with the A/C being weak or out of service and power outages. However, this is Mexico, and the power and sewage infrastructure of San Jose del Cabo is not the best. This is more of a problem in the off season when it is extremely hot than the off season when it is cooler, I am told. As for the rooms, they are amazing, but I do think that the convertible sofas look a bit old and are uncomfortable. There is also a bit of a musty smell in our room, so I think along with the weak A/C (at times) they need to work on dehumidification of the rooms. Don’t get me wrong, the rooms are still huge, and I don’t think any room has a bad view with huge patios facing the ocean. They were having issues with the A/C but we found that if we just made sure to keep the patio door closed our room stayed a very comfortable temperature. As for the spa; best spa I have ever been to in a hotel! Once again, the staff were amazing and our couples massage (it was our 28th anniversary) we had two amazing masseuses. The pool, the salt steam bath, the cold plunge, the atmosphere is all wonderful. The architecture of the hotel is amazing. My last note is that it was so hot when we stayed here (between 90 and a hundred degrees F) that I felt very sorry for the hotel staff at check in. This check in area, although beautiful, I assume was designed before global warming and has no A/C at all! The staff, my wife and I were all sweating buckets at check in. If I was an employee here, I would quit, but the people of Mexico have a much higher tolerance for heat, but even they were at their limits. My last comment (I almost forgot) is that the rooms and the hotel is fantastic because it is very calm and quite at this hotel. It is not like Cabo San Lucas with too many partiers. Come to this hotel and get a good night’s rest and leave feel more relaxed when back to the “real world”. Also, use Uber. Downtown San Jose Del Cabo is great. It is close and it is an inexpensive Uber ride there and back.

Our stay at the JW Marriott was fantastic. The resort grounds are beautiful, and the multiple pools were a much needed relief from the July heat. We appreciated that the JW Marriott is not selling any timeshares so we could focus completely on enjoying our vacation without hearing a sales pitch. Our room was quiet, comfortable, and had a great view of the ocean. The food at the restaurants and pools was excellent. Our favorite part of the hotel was the spa, where we had relaxing massages and spent time in the private spa pools. We would definitely stay at the JW Marriott again!

This hotel is stunning, what a great location. The staff are friendly and accommodating and view is spectacular. The beds were so soft and we could hear the waterfall from the pool so we slept with the door to the patio open. The air conditioning was freezing and the shower was hot. Couldn’t have asked for a better stay. We bought food from the deli in the evening and the lady who was working was so nice. We will definitely be back! We also used shuttle service to the airport which was professional and on time.

Absolutely love this resort. Came here with a large group for a bachelorette party. The hotel is absolutely stunning. Rooms were spacious and clean. The swim up bar is where we spent most of our times, its adults only. The drinks and food were great. The concierge organized day trips and taxis out to dinner. All staff were friendly and very accommodating. I am looking forward to coming back again sometime soon!

We were on a vacation/ anniversary trip in Cabo. One of our good friends were getting married there as well so we coupled it into an extended trip. The staff went above and beyond for us! When they found out it was an anniversary celebration, they asked me to send a picture of our wedding cake. I didn't know why. They made a replica topper and had it in our room with a bottle of champagne! My wife and i loved it and she was totally surprised! This was one of the best trips we have ever been on! We will definitely be coming back! I want to thank Ruben, Roberto, Gemma and Cristina for putting forth the extra service to make this a special trip! Thank you!!!!!!
