Cavelands in the Jungle

This place is a hidden gem. It feels safe, Nicole is very responsive and helpful, the cabins are beautiful and the lush scenery is so serene. I will most def come back to stay again alone to get some reading in and meditation. Thank you!!

I love coming here. I have been for 3 New Year's Eves in a row. It's very low frills, which I like, but so embedded in nature. I often come by myself. I bring books and read, or explore and swim, or meet people staying there as well. It has become a beloved home for me, a place to nurture body, mind, and soul.

Hidden gem in the Mayan Riviera. The land is magic, and the jungle sings you to sleep at night.

I walked in with my tent and was warmly welcomed. I’m lucky enough to be the only person here so I have everything to myself- personal Cenote, outdoor kitchen, big netted chill out room with hammocks and loungers...
Another Cenote and a cute town with good restaurants a few minutes walk.

If you’re looking for a place that is relaxed, down to earth and away from Tulum touristic craziness; look no further. The beautiful Cavelands is situated in the middle of nature, beautiful cabañas and camping spots are surrounded by lush jungle. The property includes a well equipped kitchen, a fireplace, two caves worth exploring and a private cenote to cool off during a hot day.

The place attracts a nice crowd and people tend to stick around for a few days. Nicole is a wonderful host and she will be more than happy to supply you with tips or recommendations for your trip and the surrounding area.

Within walking distance of Cavelands, Chemuyil offers multiple eating opportunities, from a small seafood estaurant to local streetside taquerias. From the centre of Chemuyil the beach is just a short Collectivo ride away (M$25). This same Colelctive will get you to Chemuyil from Tulum or Playa del Carmen without a problem.

Great place to camp or rent a cabin. You can really connect with nature without sacrificing comfort. There are clean bathrooms with showers and hot water. The contact number in the website does not work and neither does the e-mail. If you show up you'll receive a warm welcome.

Cavelands and the area is THE BEST, when you want to experience the beautiful nature, the cenotes and the ocean without having all the crazy tulum and playa tourist madness! Nicole is taking very good care, always making sure to provide a nice experience for everyone! Just stay here instead of going anywhere! That is my reccommendation! ❣

I did some great healing at caveland and I met with the family of Don renzo I felt honored to be a guest and part of the family there. I love living in the jungle for a month and a half in the beautiful little community. I got time to take a break for myself and I'm very grateful

Don's place is great. Secluded enough yet close to everything. Great jungle vibe and close to a nice basic Mexican town and 15 mins to Tulum.

A magical stay in an enchanted jungle. Absolutely amazing. It even has a it's own private Cenote.

Eco hotel or cabins

Muy buen y económico lugar, (100 pesos el camping) a 10 minutos andando del pueblo, en frente de un cenote (entrada a ese cenote 70 pesos), y a 15 minutos de un lugar donde hay playa y cenote (colaboración voluntaria para entrar al lugar). Tiene cabañas, camping y tipis, lugar para estar con una mesa grande, otro con una mesa mediada, algunas hamacas, duchas con agua caliente y baños limpios, una mini cocinita con lo básico pero limpio, para los que acampan. Tiene wifi. El dueño es muy amable (no habla español). Hay muy buen ambiente. No hay ningún bar muy cerca así que es silencioso, y está lleno de plantas, así que fresco. Punto importante: Lleva repelente. Hay unos ferroces mosquitos e insectos, ya que este lugar es como jungla. Ahh... y me olvidaba, tiene un pequeño cenote en el que puedes refrescarte si hace mucho calor. Si llevas tienda, asegúrate de llevar colchoncillo o algo, ya que el suelo no es arena sino piedra. Si llevas coche no hay problema ya que hay sitio donde aparcar.

Hermoso lugar con mucha paz, mucha naturaleza , excelentes habitaciones, realmente una conexión con la tierra , lo verde el aire puro, buenísima atención de los dueños.✌👍

Excelente lugar para acampar en una cabaña a lo.anturas solo tienes que tener mente abierta ante la.posibilidad que te vean como dios te trajo al mundo jajajaja hay un cenote hermoso en el terreno
