Bahia Principe Grand Tulum

The staff here really shine. My husband lost his phone on the property and when we called the front desk asking if it had been found, we were asked to come to the desk to try and identify it. Rodolfo worked with us through the shift change to ensure the safe could be opened and that it was returned. The process was smooth and we were amazed that the phone was tucked away safely for us. The honesty and kindness of every staff member involved in getting the phone back to us was so appreciated. Not to mention, every single staff member - from maintenance to kitchen staff - greeted us with the brightest faces and were enthusiastic to help me practice my Spanish vocabulary in their areas of expertise. This was our second time visiting here and we will be back for sure.

Samuel from Pool Bar is THE BEST bartender ever. Sweet, caring, great service and amazing cocktails...thank you, Samuel!

Kids club - I cannot say enough about this hard working sweet people entertaining and taking care of the kids!

Room cleaning people for villa 29 were a rude speaking bad about us in Spanish ( we understand it) and just not very noce overall. The girl was nice!

The trip was fantastic. Everyone was very welcoming and nice. The entertainment team was amazing. Gretel always made sure we were well and got us to participate in many activities that we wouldn’t have thought of doing. The entertainment team is very friendly and fun and make the trip more memorable. Thank you!

Great for family vacation with the water slides, splash pad and various pools. The people that worked there were so friendly and helpful. The drive from the Cancun airport was long, about an hour and fifteen minutes. We felt very safe during the entire experience. The rooms were basic and had some small problems like broken pieces and seals, but were overall nice and very spacious with great views. We were in a 2 bedroom villa and it was perfect. The food was good, the buffet could feel overwhelming at times so the food truck areas and reserved dinners were a nice break. Anything that is not included is extremely expensive, so try not to forget anything. Beautiful property and beach and fantastic staff made our experience lovely and unforgettable.

Love the hotel and everything it offers. Great pools and atmosphere. There is a lot of seaweed this time of year on the beach, though (May). Restaurant options are great. There's 10 Restaurant to choose from. We were able to pic 7 for a two week stay.

We were at your resort from December 26 to January 2 and would like to thank you for a great stay! Every single employee we encountered was welcoming, helpful and friendly - you have a fantastic staff!

The buffet was wonderful and plentiful, the bartenders and serving staff were very attentive as well. The lobby staff were always eager to help and the property as a whole was very well taken care of. The only issue we encountered was that the room cleaning service was lacking - some days we didn't get water or coffee replacement and weren't left replacement towels, but this was a minor inconvenience in a wonderful stay.

I would especially like to mention Domenico and Gretal who were so much fun! The pool entertainment staff were very enthusiastic and fun to watch and the evening entertainment at the theater was absolutely a blast!

This hotel is lovely for all people, families, couples, relatives, friends… there’s something for everyone. The lobby bar was our favourite place to grab a drink, our favourite bartender Alan and Juan are precious gems. You have to go see them if you want to feel taken care of and also go have a great drink! The entertainment staff is incredible as well, Christian and Erick are lovely and really try to make your stay as fun as possible, if you’re not into activities they’ll give you recommendations for something that would be more your speed. Christian especially went out of his way to be our tour guide, give us all the information on the resort and even got my daughter involved in some games she was too shy to play. Truly a great employee who loves what he does. The accommodation is clean the staff really take care of the resort 24/7 it feels like theres always someone cleaning the public bathrooms and common areas often enough to allow for a good experience. The buffet is well equipped to, their cappuccino’s are really great here and even from their instant machines. I’d give this stay a 10/10.

I spent alot of my time on the resort at the main pool, it's a really nice one. Marco, Domenico, Milton and Christian are usually there, which is great cause these guys are super sociable and will definitely make you feel welcome! Always nice to see them and strike up a conversation.

We loved our stay the most the the kids club .The Tulum kids club exceeded all our expectations! The staff were incredibly friendly and engaging, creating a fun and safe environment for our children. The activities were diverse and kept the kids entertained throughout. The shows were amazing .We will definitely be returning - highly recommended!

We are home from a 7 night stay at Tulum with a group of 50 people. Our daughter and son in law were married there on Thursday April 4th. We are all overwhelmed with gratitude for the service, the hospitality, the special treatment and everything that came together perfectly for the wedding day. To be honest, we are all still amazed at the beauty of this day and how well everything just fell together with no stress. This resort is just breathtaking and the staff is always friendly and helpful and they go above and beyond. The food was delicious, the drinks were so good too. It’s amazing how they can keep such a huge resort so clean and they never run out of anything. It was a trip we will never forget and we will definitely be coming back! Thanks to everyone at Grand Bahia Principe Tulum for making this wedding adventure everything and more!

I have to say this might be one of my best vacations ever. The resort was a 5 star +, the food was amazing, there was something for everyone. The entertainment staff was fun and super friendly. The nightly shows were so good. The staff was so helpful and friendly. My family will be coming back for sure. I recommend if you are looking for a great time plus a great resort this is the place to come. Carts can take you everywhere within the resort. You are very close to the city Tulum and excursions. Starting May 2024 Air Canada will be flying directly to Tulum. That's a game changer for the right reasons. It will be way closer to get to the resort. Tulum has everything you could want. Very friendly and safe. 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐+

The hotel is so wonderful and clean. The staff are very hard working and friendly. The entertainment team are really great especially Milton, they always have a smile on their faces and are happy to help, I cannot recommend enough ☺.

This hotel is like paradise! The environment, the beach, the food, everything is fabulous. The entertainment team is wonderful. I would like to highlight the work of Luis. What a nice and generous man. He was really great with the waterpolo games. He made our stay even more pleasant. Thank you for everything. We will come back to see you.

It was an amazing experience, I had such a great time. Room was super clean, amenities were great! Staff were super professional and they had good service. The pool area was great, you get the chance to feel like in the beach but inside the hotel getting many options to eat.

Erick from the entertainment team is lots of fun and makes the activities worth playing! Beach volleyball was a blast! Regardless of your experience in the sport he makes you feel welcome. He’s got a great personality and is a great asset to the resort!

Carlos Rosario, the general manager, is a great guy who does a great job of delegating and taking care of customers. Had a problem making restaurant reservations, but Carlos followed up several times to make sure it was resolved.
The entertainment crew at this resort is one of its many wonderful features. While they were all lovely and amazing, Marco, Alejandro, Edgar, Victor, and Armando were the ones who really stood out and were always giving it their all.

The best family vacation spot! 10/10. We came with our family of 7 and 2 kids and had the best time! Kids Club is AMAZING - the staff was so great with kids and they had so many fun activities plan all day - the kids asked to go back several times!
Service at the resort was also incredible. Jesus took care of us in the buffet area and he was our amigo! Best service in the whole resort. Thank you Jesus!!

Absolutely great hotel, service, and accommodations. Never a dull moment and always somewhere great to eat...even the late night snack bar has tacos all night!! Too busy enjoying the sun on the never crowded pool cabana to post more 😎
