El Arbolitos is absolutely outstanding for tacos! They have several delicious options with a variety of toppings. Great flavor at a great price. And you can get a delicious smoothie to go with it!

Very authentic food made from scratch, just of the main road

Just amazing! Our dive guide Alex from Coconut Divers took us here after our Cenote dives. He said this is a real authentic Mexican Taco place. Very hard to miss, kind of overgrown with some trees and bushes. The food was fantastic! Alex ordered for us and we each got 3 tacos. They had a number of pots with sauces, fixings and other things you could add to you food. I tried 3 if the sauces, the green which was the hottest then on down. They also make fresh juices as well, so I got a pineapple juice, which was just the right thing to help wash down the heat from the green sauce. If you can find it I diffently recommend this place. Good, fast traditional Mexican tacos!

I go back every year for the mole, amazing! Kind & quick service, amazing tacos, great overall! Highly recommend if you are staying in Puerto Aventuras (you are not going to get authentic tacos inside those gates), or driving by!

We were taken here by our Mexican cave diving guide. You'll see a lot of other divers here in the mornings. Serve like 40 different tacos de guisado (stew/filling) with fresh coffee and juice. Price for 9 tacos and 3 massive fresh juices was 240 pesos. Everything we tried was great. Special shout out to the chicken mole, chorizo/papa, and chicharron.

Inexpensive, authentic and tasty tacos—nothing fancy! Pay for the number of tacos you want, then pick the fillings from the buffet to the left of the cash register. Finish off your taco masterpieces with your choice of salsas, picked or chopped onions, lime wedges, etc. Beware the delicious green salsa is super spicy!

The best pre or post cenote dive tacos!

There was definitely an initial language barrier as a foreign tourist, but the tacos were delicious. Some tacos were different than what I'm used to. I'm guessing different regions have different styles. For instance, the Carne Asada was pork (as I'm accustomed to beef), and the Al Pastor was more of a stew vs the marinated pork topped with pineapple I'm used to. But then again, I'm the foreign tourist, and probably know nothing. Jon Snow.

Also, in the US, I'm used to the Verde sauce being on the milder side, like "green means go". Mistakes were definitely made when I dowsed my tacos with green salsa.

We hired a tour guide, who, as we were driving past said, "this place has great tacos." I slammed on the brakes, and parked the car. We had just eaten ice cream, and one of my daughter said, "I'm not hungry." When we went in, she took one look and said, "I'll take three, I'm so hungry." This place has that kind of magic. So many options, so many salsas, and handmade tortillas. No taco can rate 5 stars on a store bought tortilla--I don't care if you make your tacos with dry aged wagyu ribeye and white truffles. The prices are almost like they are paying you to eat there. All the people we encountered were friendly and helpful. The only downside of our trip there was that the juice side of the restaurant was closed. DO NOT PASS BY; slam on the brakes.

I came here twice to pick up lunch on my way to cenotes and it was crowded with locals every time. The choice to fill tacos is extraordinary and the taste is very good for a fair price. I also recommend trying the Horchata, it’s the best I ever had, very creamy with lots of cinnamon.

Great place to spot in between PDC and Tulum. Great selection, tasty food and the price is very good.

Absolutely delicious, fresh tortillas. There's something for everyone. Tour guides like to bring tourist here. Good prices.
